I seriously hope this is more than just a name change. The pizza there was awful. Maybe they will take the opportunity to improve the quality of their food.

That's my concern. If it's just a redecorated Pizza Planet then...no.

Definitely "bottom 5" as far as food goes on the property...

As time goes on...I fear the competition for that may increase...sadly

Its not. They are currently building a brand new facade and the inside was gutted. They have been working on this since January.

Fingers crossed it's open for my Nov trip then And for the record, I liked my meatball sub sub and I hope they have something similar on the menu. I like that it wasn't just pizza, which none of us had.

We'll see. If the kitchen isn't changed and the pizza is still mass produced from a machine then it's a candy apple red paint job on a Yugo.

I'd have a lot more faith in a major change if it wasn't a pizza place replacing a pizza place.

Even when the rumors started it was always supposed to stay a pizza place. The kitchen is getting renovated and that kitchen is shared by Mama Melrose. I don't expect Disney quick service pizza to be the best pizza on the planet. If you want good pizza go to via Napoli at Epcot or trattoria al forno at the boardwalk.

Via Napoli isn't exactly convenient when you're spending a day at DHS. I really hoped that the food might be worked on while everything else is anyway.

Yeah, the pizza technology may have been cool at the start (does this one even use Pizzafari's fast pizza machines??) but damn, that food is NASTY. And the 'arcade' part sucked, too. If they were going to stick to the original Pizza Planet theme I would have loved to see more/better games.

Eh agree to disagree on via Napoli. Maybe I don't get out enough but I think its pretty good
