**Official March 2017 Thread**

This weekend I officially got DH on board! Looking at staying at the Poly March 26-April 1. Anxiously waiting for 2017 packages to release. I am hopeful with Easter so late that spring break crowds will be slightly more dispersed.

jmccoy 18 has me pumped now that I know the flower and garden show will be going on during our trip! My spouse is getting tired of me talking about our trip....so decided I'd rather hang out with people here who understand....lol. Anybody able to explain the differences between the Boardwalk and (I assume) new Disney Springs? They both look like great adult places, but will probably only have time to go to one or the other. Also interested in the Disney Quest Arcade-is that worth the time to visit?

Thought I'd join in with this thread, too (also in the Feb 2017 thread, but technically there more days in March)!

Travelling from the UK. Will be at Port Orleans Riverside for 16 days between February 24 - March 12th. First time staying in a moderate and first time going during those months, very excited. Managed to catch the end of Flower and Garden Festival this May, so looking forward to seeing the start next year.

Joining in! We just booked our first DVC member trip. Our dates are 2/25-3/3. We went around the same week last year and loved the weather and the start of F&G. I'm also 8 months pregnant right now, so it'll be our first trip with a baby. I know he won't remember it at all or really enjoy anything at all but I'm still so excited to take our little guy on his first trip!

Hello all! My family is also planning on going in March 2017. It'll be me, my parents, my brother, and my niece. It will be everyone's first trip except for me, so I get to plan everything! Not 100% sure on the dates yet, but it will be sometime between March 17-25.

For those that have been in March before, what is the weather like? We normally go in late December/early January and we get weather from 80 degrees to 34 degrees....

YAY! So Happy I found this thread! We are going March 17-March 25 and staying for the first time at Animal Kingdom Lodge. We have stayed previously at Contemporary and Grand Floridian, but those monorail prices for next year are 2 arms, 2 legs, and maybe a spleen, LOL...Anyways we are SOOOO excited to stay Animal Kingdom Lodge...my kids are looking forward to seeing the Giraffes. We booked a standard view room, bc we really don't need to see the animals from our room bc how much are we really going to be in the room anyways, lol. I also called Disney this morning to request that we have the bunks in our room instead of 2 queens so heres to hoping for some pixie dust! We also booked the Deluxe Dining plan. We have been going back and forth with either paying OOP or paying for the dining plan, but when I worked out all the numbers the dining plan was only about $300 more, and that was not including drinks (soft drinks and such for adults), apps at some places, the daily snack allowance plus the refillable cup, and also my price was with me calculating getting stuff for my 10 yr old off the kids menu. With that all being said that $300 really didn't look like a HUGE difference and with the convenience of the dining plan and now my hubby will get what he wants and not the cheapest thing on the menu, lol, I think its totally worth it. Anyways super excited to get planning and hearing about everyone elses plans!

We were there the 2nd week in March 2 years ago and the weather was perfect! Sunny and warm but without the humidity that comes with the summer months. Last year was a different story we were there the 3rd week in March and we had a lot of rain for the week but not all day mixed with a few sunny days. The weird thing was on the sunny days the temps were much cooler in the low 70's and the rainy days were warmer.
I love March for the warmer temps without the humidity! It's Florida though so it's somewhat unpredictable.

We've done Feb through October, and what can I say.....even rain is fun at WDW! March generally is very nice although expect the surprise rainstorm. The only tricky part is how important being in the pool is. My wife is taking a day or two to just relax (what is she thinking!), while I do my own thing at MK and the Studios. Not sure if the water will be warm enough, but like I said, any day at WDW is magical!

I'm doing the happy dance because my new DIL is doing it - because just yesterday we scheduled a trip for March 12-18 with DS & DGD 7 (both of whom have been several times) and new DIL & stepDGSs 7 & 12, who haven't been! Just updated DS's MDE account so that when it's time for ADRs & FP+ we'll be ready. Staying offsite in timeshare units (out of DVC points) but know we'll have a super time!

YAY! I am also doing the Happy dance, because my MIL has decided to tag along with us on our trip in March! Now when I want to do some of the night time activities I will have someone to do them with when my hubby takes the kids back to the resort at night! She is so excited too bc she hasn't been in like over 20 yrs so now whenever she comes over our house its a whole big Disney convention, lol. I am the Disney fanatic of my household and my hubby just rolls his eyes at me and tells me to just tell him where he has to be and what time he has to be there...he never wants to talk Disney with me EVER! The other night I was having a hard time making a VERY VERY important decision and I asked for his advice and he brushed me off! Seriously? Its important bc it was what size should I make the autograph books this year...he was like u have 8 months...But it takes me that long to make them PERFECT! Anyways my MIL is coming over tomorrow (while hubby is at work) and we can talk about Disney and everything until our hearts content without all the eye rolls and side comments from the peanut gallery, lol.

Didn't see a countdown for Disneyland.

Going at the end of March for my son's 2nd birthday. It's going to be a 11 of us going. Hooray for transportation arguments. My travel agent is going to love us haha.

We are taking our big family trip, 7 adults, 5 kids, March 10-18th and staying at Old Key West in a Grande Villa. So exciting!!

I shocked I've convinced DH to go in March. Booked at AoA Little Mermaid 3/1-3/10 but it's subject to change based on SDP hopefully coming out and SWA release tomorrow. We've been in November x2 so are excited to try a different time of year.

Just until March 7 so I'll be looking for just the trip down (at 6am). JetBlue releases Sunday at noon and I think it is all of March and some of April.

Thank you! I need mid March, around the 11th. But it'll give me a good idea on prices.
