Hi! My name is Ashley, and I am a lover of all things Disney!!
:welcome:to my first PTR.
I just got married, so I know what you are all thinking, this PTR is for my Disneymoon…. Nope! Hahaha.
It’s actually a post wedding Bachelorette Party. My sister and I live in different countries, and she couldn’t make it to my original bachelorette party, so we planned an amazing one in Disney (and Universal) this fall. I know that I’m technically “married” now, but we’re still calling it my Bachelorette.

That is my sister and I on my wedding day.

We are looking forward to celebrating together, as we are both slightly Disney obsessed!! She is my best friend and the best person to travel to Disney with!! So I'm really looking forward to this trip.
As I mentioned before, this is my first ever PTR. I have read many people's PTRs and TRs and really enjoyed them. Half the fun of Disney is the planning. And my sister and I always start months in advance. So I thought this would be a fun way to organize everything along side other Disney fanatics :yay:

A few Ashley-Disney Facts:
Favourite Classic Disney Movie: Peter Pan

Favourite Pixar Movie: Monster's Inc
Favourite Disney Park: Epcot
Favourite Ride(s): Test Track, Space Mountain and Jungle Cruise (i LOVE the corny jokes)
Favourite Character to Meet: Duffy  say what you will, but I love him and will miss him!!
Favourite Princess: Snow White

A Little Ashley-Disney History:
I have been to Disney World a few times. Once as a child, and then a few trips as an adult after that.

As you might be able to see, I love character photos!! It's one of my favourite things to do in Disney.

This fall trip, my sister and I will be staying at....
The Boardwalk Inn
IMG_4592_zpstyglbvzs.jpg

This will be my second time staying here. We stayed here last year, and for some reason I only took night shots of the place. I love this hotel specifically for its walkability to Epcot and the Studios.

Next up, dining plans :)

Dining ADRs!!

We decided not to do the dining plan this trip. We have done it before, and I just found it to be too much food. I felt that since I had "paid" for it I needed to get the most out of it, and just overate. I did not need dessert with lunch and dinner and a snack daily lol. So this year we chose to as they say pay out of pocket for our meals. hahaha.

We have ADRs set up for:

Captain’s Grille
Chef’s De France
Tutto Italia
Be Our Guest
Il Mulino

Jungle Cruise Navigation Co. Ltd, Skipper’s Canteen

Tokyo Dining

A couple of our favourites...

Captain's Grille is our arrival day dinner. It's convenient since it's walking distance from our hotel. We tried it for the first time last year, and I LOVED it. I love crab legs, and they were sooooo good, I definitely plan on getting them again this year.

IMG_4545_zpsizhdfwxc.jpg

Chef's De France is another favourite 'must do every trip' restaurant.

I love love love the lobster bisque!!

IMG_3223_zpso8isons2.jpg

Tutto Italia. I love this one. Another must do. I think one of the reasons Epcot is my favourite park is the food! So many amazing choices for counter and table service meals. This is one of my favourite desserts the Bacio al Cioccolato (at least i think that's what it is called) which i will most likely get again

IMG_2731_zpscm4mkz6g.jpg

Be Our Guest. I really like this one for a few reasons. The decor is amazing, I love Beauty and the Beast and it really brings the story to life. The food options in MK are seriously lacking in my opinion, especially compared to Epcot, and I find the food at BOG to be really good. And the thing that I love most about BOG, the Grey Stuff! I'm a sucker for gimmicks like that. I knew I would love the dessert based on the name alone. And whether it is the grey stuff dessert at dinner or the master's cupcake with grey stuff on top at lunch, it is a must get for me!

IMG_4562_zpsbaz1dn3j.jpg

I'm kind of a creature of habit when it comes to food, as you can see I with repeat restaurants and wanting to order the same stuff again and again, but this year we are trying a few new (to me) restaurants.

Il Mulino! Since we are staying at Boardwalk again, this is another one walking distance from us.
Last year we went to California Grill (which is definitely one of my favourites), but I found it difficult getting back after dinner. MK was closing and they blocked the walkway from the Contemporary. They actually had a security guard telling us we couldn't pass.
Our options were to go to DTD, and bus it back from there, or cab it. Cab won!:drive:

So we thought we would find a signature restaurant to replace California Grill this year. I've heard good things about this place, so I am excited to try. Plus I'm Italian, and love Italian food!

Next new one is the Skipper's Canteen. The menu doesn't excite me that much at the moment, but I LOVE the Jungle Cruise ride, so I'm looking forward to trying this one.

Lastly, Tokyo Dining. I can't wait to have the sushi!!!

So those are our ADR plans for now. If anyone has any experience at Il Mulino, Skipper's Canteen or Tokyo Dining (good or bad), I would love to hear it :-)

Next up, plans for the first day!

Day 1 Plans

I have general plans for most of the trip as of right now, but a lot of it will be determined once we are able to make our fast passes. Right now, I have day 1 planned, since it is our arrival day.

(I apologize in advance as it will be a little wordy and photo lacking)

Wake up at 4am :scared: pack all last minute essentials, and give my little kitten Dumbledore a squish goodbye... :cat:

IMG_4942_zpsmezr8kup.jpg

I found a way to add some photos lol. Isn't he cute??

My sweet husband will drive me to the airport at 4:30am... what an angel, drop me off and I'll check in to sit around and wait patiently to board the plane. I think that's the worst part, waiting at the airport. At least when you are on the flight, you are actually getting closer to Disney! Hopefully it will be an uneventful flight. I plan to watch movies on my iPad to pass the time. Last year I was seated right beside a kid that didn't understand personal space o_O so let's hope that doesn't happen again lol.

My flight lands at 10:55am and once off the plane, I'll do the typical dash to the Magical Express. I feel like if I pass at least five parties on my way there, i'm winning! :yay:
I'll check into the hotel, drop my bags off and head straight to Epcot. I know most people like to relax their first day in Disney, but I am not one of those people. I believe in cramming in as much fun as possible from the second I land!!

I'll have about three hours before my sister arrives, so I plan to photopass my way around world showcase. I'll probably be hungry at this point, so lunch in france sounds like a good idea where i will definitely get one of these:

IMG_4704_zpsdw4x7sll.jpg

Soooo good.
Once my sister arrives I'll meet her somewhere and we will begin our first day plans together. We are planning to get fastpasses for Nemo and the Characters in the late afternoon and then Test Track in the evening. I know a Nemo fastpass isn't entirely necessary, but the tier two fastpasses are slightly lacking in Epcot.

Depending on the times of the fastpases and when my sister gets to the park, the plan is to go back and forth between our FPs and seeing The British Revolution perform.

IMG_4517_zpslxmwvafm.jpg

We love seeing these guys perform. If you haven't, you really need to stop in for one show one afternoon in Epcot. They're great! We are going to try and see a few of their afternoon sets on day one. :rockband:
Then we will head back to future world to meet Mickey, Minnie and Goofy! Last year, we had the best luck. We happened to arrive at the perfect time and scored my favourite picture of all time....
EPCOT_CHRCON3_7460052049_zpsdzzojeow.jpeg

:teeth::flower::lovestruc I know the likelyhood of ever repeating this photo is slim to non, but as I love meeting characters and taking photos, the character fastpass is one of my favourite tier twos at Epcot!!
After walking back and forth between the showcase and future world all day, we will head out for our ADR at Captain Grille. Yummy crab legs!! After dinner the plan is to head back to Epcot for our evening fastpass for Test Track. After being up for about 17 hours going non stop, one might think I would head back to the hotel and sleep...buuuut I cannot resist the chance to ride Expedition Everest at night... sooooo we are heading to Animal Kingdom lol.
After that we will bus back to our hotel and die. I mean sleep!

That is all I have planned out in major detail for now.

Awww. It's going to be hard to leave that face!!!!!

What is that????? It looks amazing! Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to eat it (gluten), but my sister would LOVE that. Maybe I can figure out a way to get it safely home...

I want to do this too!!!!!!!!!! I am determined. I am also dragging my parents there to ride it at night on a day that we are supposed to be relaxing in the evening. Oh well! You gotta do what you gotta do!

I was so bummed when they stopped doing the Expedition Everest Challenge. Awhile back, my mom and I had planned on doing that this year (May) but they cancelled it - jerks. Part of the draw for me was getting the opportunity to ride EE at night after the Challenge, so it would be SO AWESOME if we can make it happen this trip!!

Good luck with your FP+s! I can't wait to hear what you get! :thumbsup2

Your first day plans sound just like mine! I'm one of those who loves to arrive in the late morning and go to the parks all afternoon and all night! I'm so tired by the end of it, but it's so worth it, isn't it?

I'm finally here! I love it, you write so well!!! I love that you wrote in teal to match your wedding colours.

Favourite Classic Disney Movie: Peter Pan
Favourite Pixar Movie: Monster's Inc
Favourite Disney Park: Epcot
Favourite Ride(s): Test Track, Space Mountain and Jungle Cruise (i LOVE the corny jokes)
Favourite Character to Meet: Duffy  say what you will, but I love him and will miss him!!
Favourite Princess: Snow White

I want to play too:
Favourite Classic Disney Movie: Frozen (I guess it doesn't count as a classic yet but that's ok)
Favourite Pixar Movie: Monster's Inc
Favourite Disney Park: Magic Kingdom (when it's not stupid crowded)
Favourite Ride: Rock n Rollercoaster
Favourite Character to Meet: Jack and Sally, Lotso (even though he doesn't smell like strawberries anymore)
Favourite Princess: Maleficent (you know it has to be a villain)

LMAO at the Lapu Lapu picture.
"We're out of those"
"YOU RUINED OUR VACATION!!!"
"Ok ok I'll walk over to the other fridge to get more"

And the churro that took two hours to find....

Love the Gaston picture, he's so funny!

I love love love the lobster bisque!!

Nothing beats bisque on a bus.

They actually had a security guard telling us we couldn't pass.

Clearly he had a Gandalf complex and thought we were Balrogs of Mordor.

Isn't he cute??

He's adorable!

I feel like if I pass at least five parties on my way there, i'm winning! :yay:

Unless you get lost. How is it that I still get lost?

I know a Nemo fastpass isn't entirely necessary, but the tier two fastpasses are slightly lacking in Epcot.

The regular line is so long even empty that we'll still save time just not having to walk it all.

Depending on the times of the fastpases and when my sister gets to the park, the plan is to go back and forth between our FPs and seeing The British Revolution perform.

I can't wait to call the Corey hotline!

"Here are some words that rhyme with Corey"

(Stupid flash is out of date and my link won't show up. There should be a picture of Lisa on the phone here....).

We happened to arrive at the perfect time and scored my favourite picture of all time....
EPCOT_CHRCON3_7460052049_zpsdzzojeow.jpeg

We really couldn't have planned that any better!

After that we will bus back to our hotel and die. I mean sleep!

Best Plan Ever!

Awww. It's going to be hard to leave that face!!!!!

I know  buuuut at least I know that he will be well taken care of while I'm gone.

What is that????? It looks amazing! Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to eat it (gluten), but my sister would LOVE that. Maybe I can figure out a way to get it safely home...

That is a giant macaron from Les Halles Boulangerie. Amazing! Oh no, you're gluten intolerant? I'm sorry :sad1: that's got to be challenging in Disney. I haven't ever taken notice, do they have a lot of gluten free options? I remember seeing a flourless cake at one restaurant last year. The macaron does have cream in it, so you would have to buy it your last day for your sister, and then basically carry it onto the plane lol.

I want to do this too!!!!!!!!!! I am determined. I am also dragging my parents there to ride it at night on a day that we are supposed to be relaxing in the evening. Oh well! You gotta do what you gotta do!

Relax? At Disney?? not necessary lol. Definitely make them go. In the past Animal Kingdom has only ever been open until 5pm while I'm there, so I've only ever ridden in the day time. I'm really looking forward to doing this too!!

Disney often acts like a jerk and cancels really fun things. I'm still mad about Marie and Duffy

Thanks! I'll be sure to post them!!

Your first day plans sound just like mine! I'm one of those who loves to arrive in the late morning and go to the parks all afternoon and all night! I'm so tired by the end of it, but it's so worth it, isn't it?

Yes!!! You get it! There is no sense in wasting your travel day just travelling! I love making the most of all of my Disney days. I figure I'll sleep when I get back hahaha. Its completely worth it!!

Well, Frozen will be a classic at some point! And I love Olaf, so i'll accept that! I'm sure Maleficient wanted to be a princess!

LMAO at the Lapu Lapu picture.
"We're out of those"
"YOU RUINED OUR VACATION!!!"
"Ok ok I'll walk over to the other fridge to get more"

And the churro that took two hours to find....

Yeah that guy was just lazy! I'm happy we got them for the picture opportunity. As for the drink, it was basically rum and pineapple juice, probably not worth $58 CAD. HAHA.
Churro = delicious = worth time wasted

Clearly he had a Gandalf complex and thought we were Balrogs of Mordor.

YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!

Unless you get lost. How is it that I still get lost?

No sense of direction?? I remember the first year I couldn't find it, and eventually you phoned me and directed me to the ME lol

I can't wait to call the Corey hotline!

LOL. stupid flash. Good thing you texted the photo to me!

Best Plan Ever!

Excellent! I'm glad you like it since you have to do it with me :yay:

I just found out two months ago that I am gluten intolerant, well, technically, I'm gluten sensitive. I have to go off for 6 months and then we are going to test again and I may test gluten okay which means that I can have it every once in awhile. Or I may test the same and have to stay off gluten forever. We'll see.

So I don't know from personal experience eating gluten free at Disney. But I have heard that they are really awesome about it and there are lots of options. My mom has an even harder time. She's gluten free, dairy free, sesame free, and tapioca free. The tapioca is the kicker because lots of gluten substitutions contain tapioca. Our Disney trip is going to be an adventure in more ways than one!!

Relax? At Disney?? not necessary lol. Definitely make them go. In the past Animal Kingdom has only ever been open until 5pm while I'm there, so I've only ever ridden in the day time. I'm really looking forward to doing this too!!

I know! It seems like an oxymoron. "Relax" and "Disney" don't really belong in the same sentence. But we're going to try. At least a little bit! My parents are not old but they are not spring chickens any more either! I'm hoping that we'll see all these cool little details that we've never seen before. AND still get everything done I want to get done. Hence the two weeks.

We have also only gone when AK closes at 5pm. It's crazy that we have this opportunity!! Can't. Let it. Go. To. Waste!!

Yes!!! You get it! There is no sense in wasting your travel day just travelling! I love making the most of all of my Disney days. I figure I'll sleep when I get back hahaha. Its completely worth it!!
Yep! A Disney trip isn't a vacation! I'll rest on my one day back before work.

Well, Frozen will be a classic at some point! And I love Olaf, so i'll accept that! I'm sure Maleficient wanted to be a princess!

Now let's do least favourites:

Least Favourite Pixar Movie: Cars

Least Favourite Character to meet: Cinderella at 1900 Park Faire. She was so boring compared to her sisters!

Least Favourite Restaurant: I would say T-Rex because of the food but it does have dinosaurs, so Tony's it is. (We probably haven't eaten at the absolute worst restaurants yet)

Least Favourite Attraction (non ride): County Bears. :crazy2:

Least Favourite Ride: Small World. I dare you to drink the water.

Feel free to add categories I missed.

Yeah that guy was just lazy! I'm happy we got them for the picture opportunity. As for the drink, it was basically rum and pineapple juice, probably not worth $58 CAD. HAHA.

It's probably $79 CAD by now. What are you getting this time? Want to drink around the world? I'll probably pass out by country number 3. Let's make a list of what we would theoretically get if we could actually consume that much. Gran Marnier Slushie is always on my list.

YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!

We did look rather scary that night.

No sense of direction?? I remember the first year I couldn't find it, and eventually you phoned me and directed me to the ME lol

Yeah I remember that. L was a baby in a stroller and so excited to see you. (I don't want to post his real name for some reason. Paranoia?)

LOL. stupid flash. Good thing you texted the photo to me!

You can post it for me :)

Excellent! I'm glad you like it since you have to do it with me :yay:

I do like it. I'll probably be awake 20 hours straight! Nothing like exhausting ourselves before the vacation even starts. It's actually not a vacation though. It's a quest for fun. (Just like Walley World).

Oh wow, well hopefully you won't have to go off gluten forever, but if you do, you seem quite positive about it, so that's good. I have heard Disney is great about accommodating special dietary needs. I remember an old neighbour of my parents telling me about all of her crazy dietary restrictions and she had no problems. She even got to speak with the chef most nights lol

I know! It seems like an oxymoron. "Relax" and "Disney" don't really belong in the same sentence. But we're going to try. At least a little bit! At least your parents can Disney!! I think if my parents were to come with us to Disney, they would be lucky to make it to Dinner every night hahaha.

I know!! I'm really excited to ride EE at night! That's probably all we'll do that night at AK haha.

Yep! A Disney trip isn't a vacation! I'll rest on my one day back before work.

Exactly!! My sister calls it a quest lol.
I'm doing the same thing. I have one extra day after I get back to sleep before going to work. I think I can catch up on a weeks worth of sleep that day!

Now let's do least favourites:

Least Favourite Pixar Movie: Cars

Least Favourite Character to meet: Cinderella at 1900 Park Faire. She was so boring compared to her sisters!

Least Favourite Character to Meet: Sully at MNSSHP last year
Least Favourite Restaurant: Do You have a reservation? Oh no? Well we're all full! Kitchen closes at 7!
Least Favourite Attraction: The dig area at AK
Least Favourite Ride: Tea Cups

Least Favourite thing to do while we should be on rides: sitting on a bench

At least $79 CAD, if not more. I definitely can't drink around the world. There are too many beer options :crazy2: I will have to look at the menus and see if there are some fun drinks to get. Maybe something sweet in Japan? Otherwise I want a glowing drink with our dinner one night!

Yeah I remember that. L was a baby in a stroller and so excited to see you. (I don't want to post his real name for some reason. Paranoia?)

He was! And I squished him!

You can post it for me :)

I will. At some point. It takes work. I have to email it to myself then download it then upload it.

I do like it. I'll probably be awake 20 hours straight! Nothing like exhausting ourselves before the vacation even starts. It's actually not a vacation though. It's a quest for fun. (Just like Walley World).

It is a quest for fun. And if we burn out, it just means we did it properly!!!:cheer2:

FastPasses!!!

I love it when fastpasses are made. It really feels as if the vacation is right around the corner!! We were able to get all of the fastpasses we wanted without any problems. Looking over our days, we have a lot of repeats, but they are the things we enjoy the most, so why not do them over and over and over again?? haha.

Day One
4:05 - The Seas with Nemo & Friends
5:10 - Characters
8:10 – Test Track

Day Two
11:45 – Soarin’
1:10 – Spaceship Earth
2:20 – Characters

Day Three
12:55 – Star Tours
1:55 – Tower
2:55 – RnRc

Day Four
12:10 – Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
2:15 – Space Mountain
3:15 – Splash Mountain

Day Five

Universal Day

7 – Meet Mickey Town Square
8 – Meet Rapunzel (and Tiana I think??)

Day Six
1:10 – Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
2:15 – Jungle Cruise
3:15 – Space Mountain

Day Seven
1:05 – Frozen Ever After
2:05 – Mission Space
3:05 – Figment

Day Eight
11:15 – Frozen Ever After
12:20 – Characters

Our fastpass strategy is to typically make them during the busiest time of the day. So we pick which park we want to go to, get there when it isn't as busy, then when it gets busier, use our fastpasses. Then we will park hop. If we're in Studios or MK we usually park hop to Epcot after for dinner. And if we are in Epcot, then we park hop to whichever park has EMH that night. I have read reviews where people get to the park super early, then bail when it is busy for pool time and go back to the park at night. It makes perfect sense, but i just love being in the parks all day! If we need to go in the pool, I would prefer to do it when the parks are closed.

Our first day we booked our fastpasses a little later since you never know what will happen on arrival day. We didn't want delays and risk missing. So we picked Nemo first just in case we did run late for any reason.
Day two is our first full day in Epcot (as it's my favourite park and we are staying a walking distance away, we end up there a lot).
Day three we plan to spend in the studios. We even have themed outfits for that day (I'll post that later when I organize my disney clothes)
Day Four is our first day in Magic Kingdom. It seems weird to go there for the first time so late in the week, but that's okay, we have dedicated a full day to MK. Space and Splash are a must do, and 7DMT always has a huge line, so getting a FP for that is a bonus. I love the videos they take on that ride for the memory maker.
Day Five we are heading off resort to go to Universal. I know that's basically a sin. But with TWO Harry Potter parks, there is no choice!! We we plan to get up super early, head over there with our Park to Park Express Pass! I haven't been to Universal in a few years, and it has been even longer for my sister. We booked a couple of MK fastpasses for later in the evening, as we will head there on our way back from Universal. (Like i said, i'll sleep when i get home!).
Day Six we are back at MK again. We fastpassed our favourites, but subbed in Jungle Cruise for Splash since Jungle Cruise is my favourite. I love those corny jokes!
Day Seven we are back at Epcot. We saved Frozen Ever After for that day in case we had difficulties snatching that fastpass early on. However, when we were making the FPs, it was available every day, so we didn't even need to do that haha.
Day Eight is a bonus day. We ended up scoring late return flights that day, so we thought we would add on an extra park day and hang out in Epcot for a while. So naturally my favourite thing to do is character pictures, why not meet the gang again?? And then ride FEA because we can hahah.

That's it for now. Next I'll probably organize my daily disney outfits!!!

Good FP+ selections! You guys got two 7DMT FPs - score!!

I was thinking that we might want to meet Anna and Elsa this time and because we had two weeks worth of FPs, we could probably get one for them....except that they aren't accepting FPs for them! Booo. I don't think we'll wait in line for them. Maybe in the spring if they decide to FP them.

Least Favourite Pixar Movie: Cars 2
Least Favourite Character to Meet: Sully at MNSSHP last year
Least Favourite Restaurant: Do You have a reservation? Oh no? Well we're all full! Kitchen closes at 7!
Least Favourite Attraction: The dig area at AK
Least Favourite Ride: Tea Cups

Least Favourite thing to do while we should be on rides: sitting on a bench

Can I play too?? What I good idea to do least favorites!

Least Favorite Character to Meet: This is blasphemous but Mickey when he was in the Animation Courtyard. He just stood and waved. Poor guy, maybe he was super exhausted?? :confused3
Least Favorite restaurant: Captain's Grille - we used to love it but it has gone down hill recently
Least Favorite Attraction: Country Bears
Least Favorite Ride: Primeval Whirl (awful!)

Least Favorite guest: The one who turned the corner at a MNSSHP candy trail and smashed into my family with her super wide double stroller (side-by-side one), righted herself, then kept going forward, smashing into the others in front of her saying, Coming through!

Least Favorite resort: Port Orleans French Quarter. But we haven't been to All Stars yet, so...

Least Favourite Pixar Movie: Cars 2

You picked Cars as well!! I like the second one better since you get to see the world at least.

Least Favourite Character to Meet: Sully at MNSSHP last year

I forgot about that HORRID Sulley!! He was the absolute worst character ever. I can't believe he purposely turned around every time I tried to take a picture. Complete opposite of the Sulley I met in California Adventure who was just wandering around and did the scary feet dance for me!!! Or the one who stole you and Melissa... or was it just you?

Least Favourite Restaurant: Do You have a reservation? Oh no? Well we're all full! Kitchen closes at 7!

First they make us wait 30 minutes even with a reservation then we get to listen to everyone else being turned away. NO FOOD FOR YOU!
What restaurant kitchen closes at 7??? Luckily we didn't want their boring desserts. Almost as bad as "Sorry the kitchen is WAY closed". Seems fitting that place was called Rock Bottom.

Least Favourite thing to do while we should be on rides: sitting on a bench

I've analyzed it and figured out why that happens. It's lack of planning between fast passes. We'll get off a ride and have an hour until the next fast pass so instead of just hauling ourselves into a random ride line and waiting it out, we wander around aimlessly then everyone finds a bench. We can avoid this by immediately getting into another line after a fast pass, or having Disney remove all benches from the parks. I'm good with either.

At least $79 CAD, if not more. I definitely can't drink around the world. There are too many beer options :crazy2: I will have to look at the menus and see if there are some fun drinks to get. Maybe something sweet in Japan? Otherwise I want a glowing drink with our dinner one night!

I think every country has non beer options. I haven't looked but I'll have a list for next post.

I will. At some point. It takes work. I have to email it to myself then download it then upload it.

I updated flash. It was easier than having error messages all over the place. I'll post it myself....

get there when it isn't as busy,

Who have you been traveling with?

If we need to go in the pool, I would prefer to do it when the parks are closed.

Definitely don't want to waste park time at the pool. Too bad the pools aren't open all night. I'm signing your cast "Milpool"

Day Four is our first day in Magic Kingdom. It seems weird to go there for the first time so late in the week, but that's okay, we have dedicated a full day to MK.

Except when we leave to eat at Epcot. Stupid MK food.

I love the videos they take on that ride for the memory maker.

And our smug looks while sitting in the front after everyone bailed on us!

Day Five we are heading off resort to go to Universal. I know that's basically a sin.

No it's not. I think we deserve a day where we can just ride whatever we want whenever we want to without scheduling 60 days ahead of time then obsessing over the decision for two months and almost missing the reservation because we got there later than expected. It will probably be our best day!

I was thinking that we might want to meet Anna and Elsa this time and because we had two weeks worth of FPs, we could probably get one for them....except that they aren't accepting FPs for them! Booo. I don't think we'll wait in line for them. Maybe in the spring if they decide to FP them.

I've been watching wait times and they rarely get over 20 minutes. You could probably just wait in line in the evening. If they add them as fast pass they might make them tier 1 so that's all you would get to do that day.

Least Favorite restaurant: Captain's Grille - we used to love it but it has gone down hill recently

Oh no we're eating there. Did you have crab legs?

Least Favorite guest: The one who turned the corner at a MNSSHP candy trail and smashed into my family with her super wide double stroller (side-by-side one), righted herself, then kept going forward, smashing into the others in front of her saying, Coming through!

I never thought of doing least favorite guest!! That's crazy that she just smashed into you and didn't care. I always get upset when things like that happen then I obsess over them.

I haven't thought about this in a long time but my least favorite guest was a guy in line behind us at Great Movie Ride. I was with my husband and it was over 10 years ago. The guy had a two year old who definitely needed a nap. She screamed the whole time she was in line. We could tell she didn't want to be there, she was miserable. She walked into our legs repeatedly, probably from exhaustion. After about 20 minutes I gave the guy an "are you seriously not going to let her take a nap?" look. Well he wasn't in a good mood at all.

He yelled out "YOUSE GUYS DON'T LIKE KIDS????".

We turned around and ignored him but every time the line would cross back and forth and he would face us before the turn, "YOUSE GUYS DON'T LIKE KIDS?" over and over.

Then the best part, he screams "DON'T NEVER HAVE KIDS!"...

LMAO!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure he didn't realize he was actually telling us to have kids.

We boarded the ride and they loaded it backwards, so we were sitting behind the guy. Within three minutes the kid had fallen asleep in his lap.

Good to know! Maybe we'll still give them a try. I forgot about the tiering. That's also annoying.

No, we didn't have the crab legs. We usually get beef or pork. So you're probably cool. My sister and her husband were just there in February. They said that their portions were really small and the service was extremely slow. Though their food was okay, they said it wasn't worth the wait or the money. I had a similar experience the last time I was there in 2014 though the service was just fine, the portion sizes were fine but the food itself was just okay. But crab legs are a different story since they are "pre-packaged" if you will.

You should still go and see for yourself!

Me too! There is also a CM that I was pretty upset with once and I still think about him! It seemed like the whole trip we were ending up in the worst possible place on a ride (either the back when we wanted the front and vice versa) or with really strange ride mates, etc. And it always ended up that we were queued up for a really great seat and then some group would request something or the CM would pull weird and we'd end up in the less desirable location. Now, I know that this is just the luck of the draw but it seemed like it was ride after ride after ride. So, second to last day at MK, at BTMRR. I want to sit near the back because the front is kind of boring since you hang over halfway down the hills until the back gets up to the top and then you sort of slowly coast down the hill. I get near the CM and I see that I'll probably end up in the back. Score! Finally!! Then, this group of giggly teenage girls beg the CM to put them in the back because they don't want to ride in the front. So, of course, I get to him and he starts to tell me to go to the front. I ask, "Can I please sit towards the end instead?" He give me a very terse "No, I can't give everyone whatever they want, ma'am. You need to go in spot #1." I was so upset. Just because this had been happening all week. And I actually wasn't asking for anything special, just the place that I would have gotten had he not given in to the girls who asked in the first place. And then for him to act like I was being unreasonable just made me even more upset. It's okay for them to ask but not me? Needless to say, I didn't have a good time on that ride. I still get irritated thinking about it.

That is so awful that you had to face him again and again in line!

Then the best part, he screams "DON'T NEVER HAVE KIDS!"...

Hahahahaha!! I'm sure he didn't realize! Sounds like he was messed up in lots of ways. What a prize!

We've had so many weird guest interactions. It really brings home how different people are and how they think so differently than you. Boggles the mind sometimes.
