Popped awake at 6:30 this morning, got up and tidied my room for housekeeping today.

It's raining pretty good - I debated staying in but decided to brave it and go out to Epcot. I've got a poncho and an umbrella so I'm good to go!

Now I've seen it all. I left for my dinner reservation and passed a woman sitting outside her hotel room literally smoking crack or meth out of a mutilated Sprite bottle. This world is insane. I called security but I doubt they'll catch her.

So tired this morning! I've got an ADR at Kona at 7:30 so I'm excited about that. If only I was hungry, haha!

Last night's dinner at Cape May Cafe was great and I'm still stuffed 12 hours later. Still - Kona! Tonga toast! Samoan! Macadamia nut pancakes!

And then off to MK for as long as I can tolerate the rain and/or till my feet tell me to go back to Pop.

Have fun! We're here at Pop now too and heading to Magic Kingdom today! Maybe we'll see you there! It's just me and my almost 4 year old daughter so today should be a new experience for me. I'm used to going with the entire family. I expected the rain to be much worse yesterday which worked out for the better since I wasn't so disappointed about it and also I was prepared! Lol. We've got rain jackets and rain boots along with umbrellas and the stroller cover so we were good with it. I must say, it did help clear out the park! We did HS in the morning and Epcot in the afternoon and we got on so much! We also had Akershus dinner and as we were leaving Illuminations was starting and we were able to pull right up to the railing a little to the right of Akershus and had a great view! It was foggy though so the high fireworks weren't very visible but that's ok. I'm wearing my rain boots again today but this time I've got moleskin because 14 hours in them starts to hurt in certain places!

Anyway, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to take over your trip report. Have a blast and I'm really enjoying following along in your trip!

Getting pretty tired of the rain. Hanging out waiting to see if they do the Fantasy parade and then I think Pop is calling my name. I could use a little down time!

That's so disgusting, Jennifer. I'm sorry you had to experience that. Ugh! It would be nice to think something was done about it so no one else, especially children, had to witness someone doing something so despicable at a family resort or anywhere, for that matter. That was a good thing you did, though, calling security. Kudos to you.

Gotta give Kudos to the cast members of the parade. By the time they got around to the FP+ viewing area, which is by the train station and therefore at the end of this parade, they were wet and bedraggled but still looked like they were having a great time and making light of the situation. It was raining pretty hard by the time they got to us.

I left to go back to the resort, along with what looked like everyone else, ha ha!

I know, I was just in shock. It would be naive to think that these problems aren't everywhere, in every socioeconomic class - maybe different drugs but the same end result. I just couldn't believe she was sitting out there right in the open at a WDW resort. I passed her and it was just me, but I could have had my kids with me. I know there are kids in the room right next to mine. I hope there are no kids in the room with the drugs.

I decided to sleep in this morning but being over-full didn't really facilitate that. I was up by 6:45. I laid in bed for a while just trying to decide what to do. It's 8 right now and I think I'm going to go to MK for a few minutes of early extra magic hours and to grab a pack of sorcerer's cards for my son. Then I think I will stick to my Epcot plans for a while.

At some point I think I will see a movie today in Disney Springs. I've heard that the movie Room is good.

Rode Pirates and did a round of Sorcerer's in Adventureland. Gonna hop over to Epcot!

Hi! I'm enjoying your report! I have been in Orlando with some friends for the past 5 days but they left today so I am starting my first solo trip today for the next 4 days. Since it's my first I thought I would start small so am impressed with you doing 12 days. I am very happy to see sun today after the last couple of days of rain!

Boy, you couldn't ask for nicer weather today!! Sunny, breezy, and not hot at all! I'm enjoying Epcot a lot today.
