Random yet useful items to have for your trip.

Another one for pop-up hampers. We take 2 for dirty clothes.

Some other things:

Corkscrew
power strip for all of the chargers
swim googles
sunblock
ponchos
portable umbrellas
breakfast bars (much cheaper to bring)
battery charger packs
small bills for tips

Power strip for us too!

Puts all our chargers in one place, so we don't loose one. Our phones are easy to pick up on the way out the door in the morning and we put camera batteries in their chargers as soon as we walk in the door in the evening, so they are ready to go the next day.

The pop-up hamper will be a new one for us, since we usually bring enough clothes that we don't have to do laundry while we are there, but our last trip changed that, so the hamper and detergent pods are going on my new packing list!

Duct Tape!

I used it to fix the handle on my suitcase and temporarily hold one of those big white square bandages on my knee while I made my way to first aide after I fell off a curb in MK and realized I'd forgotten to pack the first aide tape.
My son wrapped it around a shoe when the front of the sole started coming off - it worked great until we could get to a store to find him a new pair of shoes.

Stole this idea from another thread (but don't remember which one) but a door stop. Pop and Sis both use ECV's when we stay and it sure beats holding the door while one or both run over my foot.

Mom always had extra bandaids and safety pins. The safety pins came in handy when a German lady was sobbing in the restroom at EPCOT- she was well endowed and both bra straps had broken.

Power strips (for the ECV's) so the cords reach.

Night light. Chargers and battery pack. Ponchos. Clothespin for hanging up wet clothes (when we forget the ponchos in the room). Dishwashing liquid for cleaning sunglasses (& regular ones too).

Poppinspenguins- love the idea for scissors. I'll add that for next stay!

If you are using a stroller, we found a stroller name tag and a string of battery-powered LED lights invaluable in helping us find our stroller in the masses at stroller parking, especially at night. We could usually beeline right to our stroller, as it was the one of the only ones with lights. And everyone commented on it as we walked through the parks! Multi-colored for Christmas season, white lights for the rest of the year. :goodvibes

What a great idea! I'll have to add that to my list! :thumbsup2

I bring a battery powered tea light to sit on the back of the commode and on the sink at night. It helps a lot for my nighttime wanderings:)

What a great idea!

Last year I brought a mini flashlight for my park bag. We were there in February, so it got dark early. That flashlight was a life saver, especially for reading park maps and schedules!

And disinfectant wipes. I would NEVER stay in a hotel without those!
