May 2016.. Let the planning begin!

The majority of our 21 trips to WDW have been during the last week or two of May through the first week of June. Thankfully, I've always been able to take advantage of a special offer. My 2014 trip report link is in my signature and I've begun my 2015 trip (both two week trips) but haven't gotten around to putting the link in my signature. We are now booked May 28th through June 11th and, unless a major discount comes out, we won't be booking the Disney Dining Plan this trip. It's well over $2,000 for three adults on a 2 week trip.

Hi! I also booked garden grill thinking of dropped teppan edo, my almost 2 year old loves chip and dale. And seems more food friendly for my daughter who is so picky!!!
Are children dishes also all you can eat?

When do we think the May room-only offer will come out (since the late winter/early spring offer ended yesterday)? Maybe the 26th? The 2nd?

I think when I looked back last year it came out around the 29th and the year before that it was around the 4th....I'm so hoping one comes out next week. We will go either way, but I would love to know if we have a discount and can be that much closer to paying the trip off.

Discounts are out through June 11. I priced all the ones out and they all end up being exactly the same deal. Doesn't look like much of a savings for Pop, but I'll take what I can get. We're going with or without it. This will be the first year without any type of dining plan (love free dining), but since our oldest is 13 and incredibly picky, it doesn't make sense to pay adult prices. I'll admit, I'm a bit nervous. I like having it "pre-paid" and not worrying about pinching pennies.

YAY! Finally booked! We still couldn't get Boardwalk like we wanted but we booked Beach Club Lagoon/Pool view instead! EXCITED! :yay:

Just tried to add a discount to our reservation to Animal Kingdom....No offers still available...sucks...

Stupid question, this is only a package deal, right? I need room only. Hoping I can find something as we do not need tickets.

For any of you that have already booked and wanted to apply the change, I was able to do that online. But I would love to find out how much more the Visa discount would cost me at the Boardwalk, but I wasn't able to do that part on line.

Wow, on orbitz after their current promo code discount 2 nights may 6-8 Boardwalk 1 br villa $855 total. That's cheaper than I was quoted by a dvc rental co.

I thought you had to call in for the discount? Where are you staying?

We are staying at Coronado Springs. I thought you had to call too but then I was playing with the website after being on hold and hearing you could modify on line...If gave me the choice of 4 discounts (not the Visa cardholder one) and I just had to pick which one I wanted to apply. Showed me the new total, etc and I already got an email confirmation showing the modification.

Modified my reservations online which was certainly easier than waiting on hold like I've done in the past. I did have to switch from French Quarter to Riverside but I wasn't particularly attached to one or the other anyway and now I've also got a king bed room and $300 savings.

What is the Visa savings folks are talking about? I don't see anything on the list of current promotions at the Disney visa site and I didn't get an email.

Same here - updated to include the discount online. Super easy and I was able to keep my preferred room at POR. We saved $400 -not bad! I also didn't get anything from Visa :(

Here's the Disney Visa info. I didn't get an email either. Just found this on Mousesavers.
