April 2016 Discount Watch

I have my mid April trip book and hope the next discount offer will cover my dates. Since the current offer ends December 23rd (today) does anyone know when they usually put up the next discount? Is it like right away on the 24th? Does it change every year? Is there a certain time during the day when the new offer gets listed?

This is my first time booking a Disney trip so I want to make sure I'm on top of everything.

Not sure where I saw this, but somewhere stated that last year the discounts that went beyond the ones we are seeing were posted in 2014 on December 27th. I'm pretty certain that was what I saw. I'm watching and hoping. Haven't seen an unlimited promo code yet either.

I have seen that historically, the earliest discounts have been released has been December 27....however, someone said it could be any day now, so I keep checking! In really hoping the latest deal isn't released until after Christmas, though! Since our trip is a Christmas surprise, it would be awfully hard to make that phone call in secret!!!

Going 4/19-4/27! Waiting for discounts. Staying at POR but willing to upgrade Free dining would be awesome!

Phone lines open at 7am, could be online at any point after midnight....time varies on opening day.

Is it ever possible to apply it online to an already made reservation? Without calling?

I seem to recall someone saying there was that option online for them before....but I could be mistaken.

If that might be an option, where would I be able to do it once I log into my account?

Yes- Go to Disney resort reservations in your MDE- to the right in blue text select "change reservations", then the top Vacation offer-select "change" if it doesn't apply, then you should call.

Online has went live early in the past, sometimes as early as just after midnight...other times more near the 7am time. I would expect at least an hour or two, maybe earlier....it all depends on when the guy over there decides to hit the switch.

Doesn't look like a great discount, but there will be one. A glitch on the Disney website has released the following promo banner:
"Save up to $500 on Room, Ticket and Dining Plan Packages at select Disney Resort hotels. Stay in the middle of the magic and save up to $500 on your package for a family of 4."

Edit: The offer is not live. It appears that this is a timing glitch on the website. When I click the banner, I am brought to an error page.
