They should rename it Frozenland

I remember a few months ago when everyone was so happy because the Hat was being removed and now the Great Movie Ride would no longer be obstructed. Well now we have a Frozen stage and a Frozen giant screen TV blocking it. After walking around Hollywood Studios today I came to the conclusion they should just rename the place Frozenland.

You can actually see a tiny bit of Grauman's at the very top of the stage. Now everyone who stops on Hollywood Blvd for a photo op will have a Frozen ad in their photo.

Guess what? Frozen was a popular movie. HS is an unpopular park. By putting frozen summer fun at HS, they attracted more visitors. I

I'm not a star wars fan, but im not starting threads complaining about star wars attractions, because I realize the world does not revolve around me and my interests.

Frozen Summer Fun (2015 edition) ends 9/7. The stage is temporary and is erected when necessary for special events (like Star Wars Weekends, etc.).

I never said I disliked Frozen. In fact I like Frozen. I am just commenting on the fact that the theater cannot be seen because it is being blocked by a stage. I don't feel the world revolves around me. How did you come to that conclusion?

That stage is erected for many special events, not just Frozen.

too much Frozen stuff at or soon to be at the parks, I don't think it's ever been so much for just 1 movie/1 movie series no matter how successful

Guess who's not sick of Frozen? Little 5 year old girls. Come on people.... it's not FOR YOU. It's for them.

I promise you that your parents were also sick of hearing about The Little Mermaid over and over and over from you when you were 5.

I think they should use the Be Our Guest stage for Frozen shows. Comparing blocking the theater with that huge stage with Star Wars is a stretch since Star Wars is thankfully in its own area.

Totally agree with you, my 4 yr old still gets excited by anything Frozen.

Regardless of the fact that they erect that stage for various events, it still looks tacky. And, yes, I like Frozen. If they need a stage they should use one they already have or build something permanent in an area where it won't obstruct the view. All IMHO, of course.

I didn't even realize the hat was gone. We are going to the park tomorrow and all I could think of was getting a picture with mickeys hat exactly where's the hating going ??? Disney heaven ????

Speaking of Frozen, is there an Olaf character (like, that you can hug) in any of the parks? Because there needs to be. He's the best.

How about it :scared: ...talk about an overreaction . Quite honestly I was sad to see the Hat go, but when I seen the un obstructed Theatre from the entrance this summer I thought it looked really nice. So, I totally see your point about the stage.

The whole point about the stage was that when the hat was being removed everyone was thrilled that they would now be able to see the theater unobstructed. However it is now once again obstructed. It didn't last long.

Except the very same stage is the centerpiece of Star Wars Weekend for months during early summer.

If not in DHS, you can go to Vegas... we saw tons of Olafs on the Strip when we were there in July! :)
