No, none of the classes are happening. The beverage manager on the ship told Alma there was no times available on Sea day.

Hi Everyone! So I'm sitting in a meeting and a friend sent this to me. I am so disappointed. Here is the link (I think, never posted a link before)

Disney will no longer be doing the autograph signing. Last month I got two picture frames one for my folks and one for me. Back to my meeting.

OH BUMMER!!! I'm still happy to see that they will still sign during meet and greets or that would have ruin what I have planned!

BOOOOOO!! Are we still doing the icecream social? We can spike it with Bailey's if we need to! Or make banana splits and add some captain morgan spiced rum! We can make it work LOL

The ice cream social is at 3pm embarkation day at Eye Scream (which I think is by the kid's pools on Deck 11?). The social is something we are all doing on our own without the cruise line's involvement, so they can't cancel it! :mickeybar

Let them try and rain on our ice cream social....we have over 100 people now so they can't stop us! :jester:

Yes, the eye cream is on pool deck, #11. It's on the opposite side of Luigi's Pizza, Tow Mater's Grill and Fillmore's Favorites. If this is your first time be sure and have some of the pizza. It is really good! They has have a daily special at Tow Mater's Grill. I remember they had chili last year (it was cold outside so hit the spot). The daily special's were all really good.

You can also get salads, fresh cut fruit, wraps, etc. Beautiful thing is you can take the food wherever you want. We took it back to the room several times for a snack. I've also heard of people taking it into the movies, shows, bingo, etc.

If you have one of those reusable popcorn tubs from Disney you can bring it on board and they will refill it at the refill price.

Are there many adults planning on Halloween costumes? Other than pirate night. Won't there be activities?
What is your last name please? I am doing a customized gift with "The _____ Family" so I am trying to get everyone's last names. Thanks!

:yay:
It should be 12 girls and 10 boys minus your children your adult numbers seem correct.
I'm including my children since what Im making the kids will be very useful on the ship, they can use it from the beginning til the end so I will be delivering these AS SOON AS I CAN lol

Also I hope the Kids names are all spelled correctly, I will be personalizing them soon!
Yes, all together I have 22 kids. I meant to say 20 kids not counting my kiddos. I just realize I should count my kids also cuz I made it for them too. I think we are making the same thing and I too will deliver mine ASAP. :yay::yay::yay:

Dumb question: how many suitcases are you all packing? We have 8 days total. We were thinking one rolling carry-on for each of us, and then two large checked bags between us to share for overflow, to save on the cost of checking bags ($25 per bag each way). Is that enough? I guess we won't know until we are packing. I was just wondering what everyone else is doing. We have never flown together as a family- we drive everywhere, so what we pack is not even a consideration, we just pack whatever and throw it in the car. This time I feel like we really need to keep it in check. Also- are you bringing an empty bag for souvenirs on the way back? Jason wants to nest our two checked bags and only check the one (with the other inside) and then we'll have two checked bags on the way home. I can't imagine we'll fill a whole extra bag with just souvenirs.

Anyway, just rambling, and obsessing over this trip.

FYI- I just learned about this site that tells how many ships are in port. It matters to those of us dropping off a rental car, to know how busy the rental place is when shuttling cruisers to the port after dropping off their rental cars. There are only two on our day, so hopefully it won't be too bad.

Something to keep in mind as well is that they stagger the arrival and departure times so not everyone is going to be flooding the docks at once. It goes quite smoothly actually. I've been in port with up to 5 ships at a time in some of the larger ports and it was never an impact to us.

We will be doing 2 larger suitcases and possibly one small duffle with pillows in it. Depends on how much fits into the suitcases with the pillows inside. We always bring a folded up duffle which then becomes our laundry bag for the week. We have 8 days as well (7 nights). My hubby will carry on his back pack and I will carry on my bag plus a rolling bag for drinks. We aren't big alcohol drinkers, but I shall get a nice little box of wine from the grocery stop on the way to port and we will also bring on some canned sodas for the room - nothing crazy.

We are bringing 1 large one each and a couple of carry on's . We have a washer and dryer in our WDW resort for before and we have a washer and dryer in our Gulf ocean room so that cuts down on the number of outfits. I hope to mail our FE gifts to our WDW resort and just take them on the ship.

Just the stuff that we are checking onboard:

1. lg. suitcase - FE gifts
2. med. suitcase - my stuff, shoes, whatever else
3. sm. suitcase - girls' stuff
4. garment bag - costumes
5. garment bag - formals
6. whatever bag my DH uses for his stuff

Then Jake and I will have a carry on each. I'm thinking that if our carry ons are too full of alcohol :scared1: I may have Anna carry her backpack with toiletries. :confused3

Alcohol has to be a carry on right? I don't remember

We are bringing one large for me and the wife, one medium for the kids, a garment bag, a medium suitcase for fe and everyone has a book bag/ carry on. And yes any drinks, alcohol or non, must be in a carry on
