Sep. 7, 2015 on the Dream

Well, it sounds like Jake is interested in the 5K! :tiptoe:We will see if he follows through with that. He really enjoyed doing a tough mudder this past fall, so he might. I will wave at him as he leaves and then meet him at the finish line!
I haven't done a tough mudder, but i have done a spartan race and let me say obsticale course races are so fun! Theyake you feel like a kid on a playground.

Silly question - I'm planning out the Fast Passes - I know we get an hour window, is it an hour from our reserved time? So if I book one at 10 I have till 11 to be there right?

My husband just thinks I'm being anal by setting up all these charts and finding where to go first and so on but it seems that you have to or you get to sit in line for your vacation.

Yep! You've got it! Make sure to look at maps when you do it. I always like to get Splash and Thunder back to back hours. For example, I get Thunder at 1 and Splash 2. Then we work our way over there around 1:30. We do Thunder and then it's time for our Splash time :)

I have done the same thing, and like yours, my husband thinks that I am CRAZY. I have a huge binder with everything organized and he just shakes his head when I am writing stuff in it.:sad2: For the fast passes, I just checked the My Disney Experience app on the day of the week that I plan on going to that particular park. Then I look at the current wait times, and choose from there if it is something my munchkins will ride. The only problem is that the app doesn't show character greet times, so our plan could change. I also found a list online (printed up and placed in my binder, of course:p) that gives you an idea of the most important fast pass places in order........I may end up changing and going off of that list.

How is everyone labeling their gifts?
I ended up doing a stateroom gift for the adults and individual for the kids. I am putting each gift in a red bag and labeling them with the names on the outside. I am helping mom with her FE and we are passing them out at the same time. I think I am going to put all of the FE gifts we have for a particular stateroom in a large ziplock bag and label the outside with the room #. Then I will organize all of the large ziplock bags by floor. Then I'm going to make a map so hopefully it goes easy peasy!

How is everyone labeling their gifts?
Ashley has labeled ours 2 different ways depending on what it is. She has made labels out of card stock, punched a hole in it and then tied it to the gift with a ribbon. Also she got some big labels and Address labels and printed them on word to stick on the gifts.

How is everyone labeling their gifts?

We are doing "to" and "from" labels on our adult gifts because they will be in red bags also and I won't know who's is which. The kids will just be "from" labels because I will be able to tell by looking which is which. I am also separating each stateroom into Lg. Ziplock bags, and organizing by floor :thumbsup2

I can get away with ribbon and card stock for the adults and the munchkins but the older children's are that easy and i dont want to stick anything to them... hmmm maybe a cellophane bag with the card dropped in would work...

Great question - I was going to ask a similar question.

I have printed off (on regular paper) labels. Is everyone ok with it just saying TO: and FROM: ? So many people it seems do these really cute sayings. For example - when giving a bottle of crown royal the saying is "every royal deserves a crown". I love the cute sayings, but thinking of keeping it super simple. Everyone ok with simple?

Great plan Amber! I may use that plan of attack at well.

Of course I am just fine with simple :)

Are you splitting up and each person take a certain floor or are you delivering all yourself?

That seemed like the best way to do it! lol. Especially for us since we are two staterooms of different gifts delivering at the same time.:scared:

Simple is perfectly fine! No sense in over complicating things!

Is Disboards the only place u can join an FE group? Since we are on the 4th list and no one else has joined it I'm just wondering if there is another message board I can join? I have a backup plan if there is not but just wanted to ask.
