Has anyone decorated their Magic Bands? Please show us the pictures!

I'm here with some pics of the magic band decals I designed at magicyourband.com !! I think they came out pretty good. The Hulk one came out a little darker than I thought it would, but I still think it came out nicely! A pleasant surprise is that they sent TWO of every design instead of just one. They also sent me a bonus decal. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking to design their own magic bands. Shipping was VERY speedy, and the more bands you order the more of a discount you get! I'll definitely be designing a few more before we go on our trip!

Hey any tips on choosing pictures that work nicely? I played with the site a few days ago and keep trying to design a Princess Leia one but am having a hard time choosing a good pic of her to upload that works well.

I figured out that it's much easier to choose large pictures and shrink them down than it is to make smaller pictures bigger. Trying to enlarge pics makes them kinda blurry. Also photos that will still look good if you cut parts of it off. Like the wolverines one I made, I chose a picture that would still look cool even with half his arms cut off lol

Ordered 2 more magic your bands for my mom and sister. The dpi is a lot lower than the recommended so I'm crossing my fingers they look ok!

Here is my first try... these are our spares from last year. Waiting on our new ones coming in August, but I will take these so now we will have 2 pairs. Pretty good I thought for a first try (and I am NOT artistic at all!)

I also found some great nail polish art bottles at my local dollar tree. There was a bunch of colors, including white, black and sparkles. these helped a lot because the paint brush is long and thin, and can make lines much better. I liked the nail polish over the paint pens as the pens seemed to smear often and not color in completely.

Thanks for the kind words! Yes- they are printable waterproof vinyl and I designed them, printed and cut with my silhouette cutter.

I don't even know this was a thread!! I just posted how excited I am. We just created or bands today. I can't wait to get them. All three kids created theirs. I can see each if my kids personality in the band. My husband didn't care or want to much done but I did something anyway. .lol

Here's ours...my mom gets all of the credit for painting them! I just found the designs online. We just need to seal them with a base coat and then they will be all set for our trip in 13 days! Her next project is a pair of painted canvas tennis shoes for me!

UPDATE: Okay, so these aren't Magic Bands, but I mentioned my mom's next project was decorating shoes for me and she finished and they are just too cute not to share!!!

Wow! I am lovin' this thread! Just found it. How do myfantasybands.com and similar websites work? Are they covers for the MB? If so, that's brilliant! Would so love to do that next trip!!

Just wondering if anyone has given their MBs a personal touch. I read where someone said they covered theirs in sworski crystals, another said they were going to use a sharpie to decorate it, but haven't seen any pictures yet. I would like to do something to mine, but I am a little nervous about it.
