Changes To Dining Plans May-June 2015

http://www.mousefantravel.com/disne...atest-deals/2016-magic-your-way-deluxe-dining

this takes me to a screen that has 2015 packages and 2016 packages, I clicked on 2016 DxDP and appetizer is indeed included...its title is 2016 Disney packages...

Right....

And at the bottom it references the 2015 DDP brochure with a note saying 2016 is TBA. This was obviously put up before the 2016 brochure came out.

Why would a travel agent website be more valid than Disney's own brochure on their own website?

So I had to go looking, found the dxdp 2016 pdf and here is the signature dining description. WOW
I am shocked they took away the appy

Signature Restaurants provide unparalleled cuisine served in elegant and relaxed surroundings. Choose from a selection of menu offerings, including children’s favorites.

This has me concerned. We're going in October and have the deluxe plan. Does this mean we won't get appetizers or will this not go into effect until 2016?

It should not affect 2015 packages. The 2015 brochure still has the app included.

Please, for the sake of those who will come after you, seeking information from these boards to help plan their own trips; please stop posting invalid information. You're doing a disservice to everyone who uses these boards.

how was the previous poster supposed to know it was invalid information? The page says 2016. It lists appetizers (although when you click the link and look at the brochure, no appetizers). It's from a trusted travel agent from what I understand. it's the travel agent that was wrong.

The travel agent is wrong, but when the actual Disney site says one thing and a travel agent site says another it only takes a second to look over. I've never heard of that travel agency, although I'm not familiar with many.

I looked at the site once and saw the discrepancy. If someone wants to sitesk me thing and blast it as the truth they could at least verify a little. It was pointed out several times why it wasn't accurate.

I have to imagine they are going to get very strong negative feedback on this appetizer removal. I would not be surprised to see them reverse this decision at some point in the future.

Has Disney ever reversed a dining plan decision? Not being snarky, genuinely curious. I can't think of an example. Seems like...once a benefit disappears, it is gone forever.

That is the travel agency that works with AllEars.

And where do we have the confirmation on this board that the appetizer is indeed gone? From travel agents. Who say they talked to management. and the Disney website is OFTEN wrong. So why blast the poster here.

Ok. And? I just said I've never heard of them.

It doesn't change the information not being up to date and the Disney website saying something totally different, which was pointed out several times.

I was trying to be helpful.... actually thought you couldn't find the 2016 package.. if it makes someone feel better.... go ahead and be sarcastic...no worries here...

No worries I can handle it...

I know you were, and then it was pointed out as inaccurate and you got kinda snarky about it.

I'm not being sarcastic. My sarcasm comes in the firm of gifs and memes.

What are you talking about?

It's not that big of a deal. You made a mistake. It happens. A simple 'my bad' would've been fine.

Really, there is no reason to rip somebody because you feel they didn't do enough research. Or for any other reason about this. There is too much conflicting information on Disney out there for that.

Of course we are, at this time, bound by what the 2016 brochure says, and the brochure says no appetizers. I think that unless and until they change the brochure, we have to anticipate that deluxe will no longer include appetizers at table service.
