Is there an updated menu for the restaurants posted anywhere?

I saved the menus from our last trip in June 2013. I know they are not recent, but I don't believe the menus change much at Vero. If anyone can tell me how to post PDFs I will post them. I am going back in August and will try to get menus from this trip as well. We love Vero. This will be our fourth trip to the resort.

Hey there, I just joined. I and my gang of 4 teenagers will be going to VB June 20 through June 23. This will be our 4th trip to VB and can't wait

My husband and I have a studio booked for July 24-29. It will be our first visit. Are any studios ocean view? Are there balconies? We are hoping to see some sea turtles. I understand there is a walk/tour sponsored by the resort. Has anyone tried this? Thanks.

DH & I are staying June 25 - 30. This is our 2nd trip and we could not be happier to be returning to our home resort. Had anyone ever been to the Spa and had treatments? We are thinking of treating ourselves to massages and wanted to get an opinion.

2 BR room request? We are going at the end of July. I love to hear advice on what room views are available, and suggestions on what I should request. My husband and I will be travelling with our 2 DD (7 and 12), and they both love the pool and the ocean.

July 5-8
One OVIR, and two GVIR
This will be visit number three for us. Looking forward to watching the sun rise from our balcony, catching a turtle walk hopefully, and just relaxing with our toes in the sand.

November 15-19
1 bedroom
3rd trip for us. Going to visit Mickey's Christmas party for a night as well. Can't wait!

Here now. I didn't realize Eb & Flos closed at 7. My teenagers wanted to play ping pong. Seems a little early.

Considering a stay the second week of March.
Is it too cold for the beach and ocean at that time of year?
What is there for a young 20's person to do there? How far to historical sites, Cape Canaveral, etc.?

About an hour to the Cape. If you go, be sure to visit the Kennedy Space Center Visitors Center. GO EARLY and go straight to the back and hit the Atlantis Exhibit first, then work your way back to the front or the launch pad tours. Worth a day's visit! (We almost spent the whole day with Atlantis; they've done great job with the Visitor Center

Vero Beach Fans: Are character dining experiences only Saturday AM? Hoping for an evening or Sunday am...

We just returned from an excellent trip there last week. We were in a 1BR on 3rd floor building 15. It was tucked away at the end of the resort and very peaceful and private. A few comments/thoughts:

1. Beach restoration was done in the area.
2. They were working on the exterior of the main building right across from the little grassy area they call a croquet area. Some large equipment and workers on the side of the building during the day.
3. We did the Pirate Dinner and Character breakfast. Both served family style. Food was good. I wouldn't bother if you don't have a kid. Goofy and Donald appear and actually came to our table a few times during our meal.
4. The beach was nice and clean....not even seaweed in the water!
5. Did mom/daughter mani/pedi at the spa. DON'T do it!! Don't get me wrong the staff was very nice and the atmosphere great. But, they put us in a room with two chairs and one technician. My 9YO was so bored while the tech was working on me. They had no kid friendly magazines there and after an hour, I ran out of things to chat with her about. I ended up asking the tech to stop working on me and finish up with my daughter so my DH could come and get her. The whole thing was more than 2 hours....hard for a kid to sit still through. $230 after tip and DDs nail polish was already peeling within 24 hours. I knew it would be costly....but was ok for a bit of quality time with DD. That backfired as soon as she got bored.
6. You must walk across the street and explore. Basketball, Tennis, Horseshoes, Archery, Bike Riding. We did this a few times and rarely did we see anyone using the facilities.
7. The pizza at Orchard Island pizza next door is the most tasteless pizza I have ever had. Would not recommend.

And finally....a discovery of a little secret that I have not seen mentioned before. Along the path around the pond across the street we stumbled upon a fairy village up in the trees. There were little crystals hanging that marked the short path....a little further down up in the trees were tiny houses, rope bridges and even a tiny clothes line with fairy clothes hanging to try. It was the highlight of my daughters trip!!!

@mdurette Can you tell us more about pirate dinner? Trying to plan a Character or theme dinner for twin 4 yr old birthday....What nights is this offered?
