It's My Birthday & I'll Disney if I Wanna! ~ A Dec 2015 PTR - COMPLETE!

Hi Billie! Found your PTR today and read through it. I am also going down in December and some of our dates overlap. I'll definitely be reading along with your trip planning!

So, love the shirts ideas! I am with you...love customs, but need to buy my own shirts because I am so picky about the way they fit. I also do not like crew neck shirts...V-neck or scoop for me.
Same same same! :thumbsup2

Have you seen the Creative Design thread on the boards here? :scared1: They are awesome...I can hook you up with a place to get some really good iron ons...pm me if you are interested. I used to do a lot of them, just my printer hates me now, so have not done any in a while.
Oooooooh!!! I've about maxed out my iron-on budget for this trip, but I will definitely hit you up if I decide to make more for the next one!!! Thanks! :goodvibes

I'm sure at least most of your ADR's will be available. Are there really THAT many people that get up early on their 180 day to make ADR's?? Don't answer that lol. But really...hopefully you will be ok. And also, I'm sure you have back up choices right in case you don't get all your top pics??
Actually... I don't. :headache:

YES. PLEASE YES.
I'll think about!!!

Love the iron ons. Mom would be doing mine, too. The shirt from the Avenue is pretty too, so cool and comfy. I have one in my closet. I love the colors.
Ooooh, good to know! It looks pretty light and comfy in the photo, and I typically like Avenue brand stuff. I'm excited to try it on when it gets here next week! :cutie:

The ADR's will open up...never fear.
The hubs is catching the Disney fever when a friend sent him a family photo in front of a crowd free castle and he said, "can we do that?" So guess who has a pre park opening breakfast at BOG? 25 more days for us. Your TR will help me get through my post Disney depression.
How exciting!!! I'm really curious about that breakfast at BoG. And do you know I've NEVER done a pre-park-opening breakfast? One more thing for the bucket list! ::yes::

At the very least, it would be a great password for your Cool Princess Club. Can I join the club? :yay:
Of course you can. I think the password should be Tiara, though. princess:

Ok, I have to ask, cause I googled it and still don't understand (it may be the sleep deprived cold medicine induced stupor I am currently in...) but what the heck is the significance of Zero. Craps. Given...
Oh, Lynn. You're adorable! "Zero. Craps. Given." is just a DIS-friendly censored version of something I say often in RL. (In RL, it rhymes with "Zero. Ducks. Given.") Basically it's my way of brushing off things that might bother some people, but that I don't let get to me. It's just a re-wording of the phrase "I don't give a crap." Because if you don't give a crap, then you have zero craps to give about a situation. Ergo... Zero. Craps. Given. :D

So I used this phrase a couple of times over the course of my April TR, and a few friends here picked up on it and having been using it or referencing it, and the phrase is apparently growing in popularity within my threads. Because my friends are CRAZY. :rotfl: (I'm looking at all of you!!!! :grouphug:)

Finally caught up after the long weekend :-)
I love the iron on's, would have never thought of that! Pre trip shopping is one of my favorite all time activities. My DH thinks I book trips just so I can have an excuse to buy new stuff, which almost always involves new shoes. :rolleyes1
Yesssss! Trip shopping is so exciting! I think the only thing I have left is maybe some capri pants to bring as an alternative to the shorts I'm already planning. I'll have wait a paycheck or two on those, though! :goodvibes

no one gives a Sh!!.... Now ya get it?
Oh Mo, I love your way with words! :lovestruc

It's her catch phrase! And the best one ever!
Ha! I have a catch phrase! NEAT!

And, hold up, is there a princess club forming here? Tell me the password, secret knock, whatever--I want in!!! Is wearing a tiara required?!!? Oh please tell me it's required!
Girl, not only is a tiara required... The not-so-secret password is actually "Tiara." princess:

Hi there! :welcome: So glad to have you here!

Tiara! Tiara! Let me in!
Welcome to the Club, Princess! princess:

Hey, ya'll! :grouphug:

Do I get to do a Single Digit Dance for ADR Day? Is that allowed?

...Doing it anyhow. Zero craps given.

Thanks to @KathyM2, I realized that I should probably come up with a back-up plan, in the event I can't get my first-choice ADRs. I've decided that my itinerary is set, and that I am not going to go rearranging my days based on what ADRs I can or can't get. So that meant coming up with alternate restaurants in the same park/area in the case I can't get what I want.

In any cases where you see Boatwright's Dining Hall, that's only if we decide to switch to POR once the military rates come out in the next month or two:

So if I get shut out of my First Choice on any day, then I'll consult my 2-3 suggested back-ups, and go from there and hope for the best! :goodvibes

Any suggestions regarding in what order I should prioritize these First Choices? I know to go for BoG first (obviously), but beyond that? I know to do Boma last, and Biergarten second-to-last. But from what I can tell, Ohana, Akershus, T-Rex, Tusker House, and Crystal Palace all seem to be pretty equal in popularity, so I would LOVE some help on sorting out my booking order here:

1st: Be Our Guest
2nd: ????????
3rd: ????????
4th: ????????
5th: ????????
6th: ????????
7th: Biergarten
8th: Boma

Thoughts, ya'll? :confused3

And then just some random adorableness: The other night I was swapping a load of laundry over before bed, and I walked away from the dryer for just a moment. When I got back, this is what I found waiting for me:

Because as you can see, Butters gives zero craps also. He's so gangsta. 8-)

Even the cat gives zero craps? I would expect nothing less!

Ordering the dining choices? Too hard! I would say crystal palace, akershus, tusker house, ohana, T. rex? I put trex last cuz you can always call them direct to get a res if needed. So many delicious choices.....

I'm loving your report!!
Thanks!!! And glad to have you here! :welcome:

Beep beep! :drive: I'm on my way! :car:

In general, yes. The craps that he does give, those go in the litter box thankfully. :rotfl: :cat:

It IS too hard, that's why I need help! :rotfl2:

I keep reading that you shouldn't panic if you can't get the ADR's you want right away because they often open up quite a bit in the week leading up to your trip. I've also heard that if you wait for a couple of hours after the ADR window opens up, the website is not so bogged down. Anyway, not sure how true either of these are, but I'm hoping more ADR's open up before our trip because I'd still like some different times for some of our meals. I hope you get everything you want!!

It's not only allowed, it's required!

I think it's great to have backups ... but I hope you don't need to use them.

Thoughts, ya'll? :confused3

No idea. But this makes me scared of ADRs ...

Because as you can see, Butters gives zero craps also.

He is your cat, I would expect no less (or is it no more?)

Don't get me wrong...I think you DO have a good shot at getting all your top picks for ADR's...but it's nice to have back up choices so you aren't stressing about it at the time. You can of course go back and check for your first choices again (or over and over and over...) but at leat you can move on to making all the ADR's you can get...

I used the work backwards method and it worked for me..... So that would put Akershus in spot 6.... I'm not sure I like that either...

So I would do Akershus as 2 since the goal is 8am, preparks tend to be harder to get....then 3 I would do crystal palace all MK places seem difficult to me. 4 I would do Ohana because it's your first day, 5 would be Tusker house and 6 would be T. rex because I heard they take resverations outside of ME (not 100% sure that's true)

That's how I would do it....either way good luck!!!!! FYI your eating at one of my favs from my last trip on my birthday :). I want to see princesses now!

Also your cat is to funny!!! :rotfl2:

Picking ADR's is always so hard! Hopefully you get your first choices. I think the hardest place to get is BOG. The others you should probably be okay!

I know this is a total rookie question... but what TIME can you get on for ADRs the day they are released? Are we talking 8am, or is it like midnight??

ALSO.... the shame.... I can book all the ADRs for my trip at one time, or does each day become available... each day? Um. DOES THIS MAKE SENSE? :sad2:

Thank you for the explanation....:flower:

As for ADRs, I would do Akershus next, then Ohana, Crystal Palace and then any of the others. breakfasts with the Princesses go fairly fast. Really anything pre-park opening.

Here's what I would do:

BOG
Akershus
Ohana
Crystal Palace
T-Rex
Tusker House
Biergarten
Boma

Your cat is so cute!
