The shampoo is still the H2O Spa Revitalizing stuff. It's great for the husband & sons. I can use it once if I have to but if I use the hair stuff more than that it dries my hair out bad. My hair is normal if not slightly dry. I typically can't wash my hair daily or it dries out so bad it becomes brittle. If I use the shampoo & conditioner I have to be extra careful to compensate with leave-in conditioner & anti-frizz products to battle the frizzies. It's hard to say what effect it would have for you.For the hair care products provided on board, does DCL offer items that can handle combination oily/dry hair and skin? I remember they were the H20+ brand (i.e. Are the H20+ products able to handle oily scalp and dandruff and dry frizzy hair)?
I do know that they sell some basic products in the shops onboard. If you need to, when we get to our first port in Cozumel you can probably find stuff there. There's a Mega store a short walk from the Punta Longosta pier. It's right across from Margaritaville. That's like Mexican Walmart. I had to run in there to stock up on cold/flu meds our first time in Coz. Reasonable prices. Well, everything is in pesos but they can convert at the register for you to USDs. Looking back, my trip to Mega was so interesting because everything on the labels looked familiar but in Spanish. I couldn't read any of it. So we started asking other shoppers what things say. It was so surreal and interesting!
I tell myself when packing all the time that if it's something I can get (within reason) once I'm there I won't worry with bringing extra.
