Deb123 and Mickeystoontown !!! Thank you for posting ! Awesome pics, suddenly CBR is under high consideration for our next trip :)

I was more than happy to post them for Deb123 and thanked her for sending them to me. At first, I wasn't sure if I cared for the new look but it's definitely growing on me.

I have found this resort to have lots of great food to eat! Lots of yummy, indulgent foods, but also some of the healthiest options I have seen at a resort yet!

No question to ask or information to share just :cheer2:SO EXCITED WE WILL BE AT CR in a few weeks!:cheer2:

Playing in pool with DH, DS, and DD and sipping on margaritas is my happy place in Disney!

I have come to ADORE this resort!

We had to reserve a regular room to get free dining. I requested a handicap room, but CAN walk, although VERY painful by the end of the day, so I requested a room as close to the main building as possible.

IS there ever any possibility of an upgrade to a closer room? I was and am willing to pay extra for it, but need to keep the free dining (we upgraded THAT to deluxe.) Seems like there should be something. Suggestions welcome. We arrive December 17 through the 23rd.

Does anyone know if they have connecting rooms here? I haven't seen any proof that they do in the pics I have looked at. Any info is appreciated.

Wow! I am in the same boat as you with same issues as well. We are in water view room but preferred was not available- I requested Jamaica 45 or Aruba 51 both close to bridge- asked CM to include my disability also- I have alot of trouble with my hips. We are there exact same dates as you. THis post is a mirror image of our trip too!! What a small world. I hope you get your request. We did same thing for dining too upgraded to deluxe- our first time. We are more than excited.

Whoot - just saw the pictures of the new rooms. I am in love with that Murphy Bed, even though we'll actually only use one of the big beds for DH & me.

and I concur with the previous poster who thinks this looks more Poly-ish than Caribbean. It would have worked with a lighter wood I think.

But I still hear James Bond when I see those bathroom doors closed.

I love the new look, it looks very upscale. I do hope they bring back the pillow and throw at the bottom of the bed - that looked much nicer. I had my TA change my request to Jamaica 45 w/a murphy bed. I hope we get it!

I'd keep checking to see if a preferred room becomes available. Your best bet would be to call and let them know your requests so that they can be noted on your reservation. If a preferred room does not open up, you can always ask at check-in and see if a room is available and pay the difference.

Yes, there are connecting rooms in each building. We had them in Jamaica several times and in Martinique several times.

Hello everyone!

My family and I will be at Carribean Beach for the first time from Sept. 26th - Oct. 4th (please add us to roll call :)) We are VERY excited to stay here and hoping for Aruba or Jamaica!

We have been used to staying at resorts with only one bus stop (POP Century, POFQ, etc) and have been majorly spoiled with bus transportation.

It gets me a little nervous with the bus transportation at CBR because of all of the stops.

Usually, when we stay at POP and POFQ, we get a mug refill and then go to the bus stop from there. I see there's a bus stop at the OPR. If we do this every morning before we head to the park (around rope drop), will we be ok with finding a spot to load on the buses? Or will we be lucky to find a spot on the bus.

I realize there's an order to the bus stops...however, I don't know if, from people's prior experiences, they can share if they've had success loading onto bus from OPR in the mornings?

Or, should I go to OPR and then walk ALL THE WAY to my bus stop at Aruba or Jamaica?

Any tips on loading buses in the morning would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

So I know a bunch of people were saying the refurb beds are too white. We're in Jamaica 43 right now and housekeeping just came in with a new runner for the beds! Hopefully this picture works, just snapped a quick raw one of the bottom of Jem's bed!

I think that you'd be fine filling your mugs at Old Port Royale and catching the bus there. Depending on which route the buses take, Old Port Royale will be either the second bus stop or the third from the last. If it were me, I wouldn't want back to our village's bus stop to catch the bus.

Have you had any experience where you couldn't get on the bus from OPR because it was too full?

No, I have not. Actually, there was only one time that we felt a bus was too full to get on and that was our personal choice. My 79 year old mother was with us and needed to have a seat and we didn't want to take a chance on somebody not giving up a seat for her. We opted to wait for another bus which came quickly thereafter. During all of our stays, we have never seen a bus so full that they weren't taking on guests.

Yay for a pop of color on the bed! Are you in a room with a pull down bed? If not, if you get a chance, would you mind taking a picture or two of your dresser. Some are wondering what the non-pullout bed dresser looks like. Thanks!

Thank you all for posting/sharing pictures!!

A small request....could someone take a picture of the new shower and shower curtain and post it? Thanks in advance!

Edit...we had to change our dates to Nov 4-8 in order to get the Military discount.
