Thanks for the post! Was just thinking of this today for our bands.. well my MagicBand as we have finally book reservations and will be going to SWW 1st weekend!

Getting really excited as this time around it will be a group of us attending and all dressed up

Just want to say thank you so much for this thread! I have found it so useful. Going to third SWW! 10 years in a row that's wonderful. I must start the same trend! From the UK so might be a bit more challenging. But with R2 navigating and switching to hyperspace I don't see a problem and no C3PO we don't want your negative unwanted view lol..go make out on the FP+ Thread lol..

Glad you found us!! It gets buried in between all the other (fp+) threads. Make sure to subsrice so you can get emails when there's new activity. I'm checking the HUB 10 times a day for any new info.

We bought the mb sleeves at Mouse Gears last week. They didn't have the R2 slider. We followed the suggestion and bought small.

I am planning my first SWW with my son and was wondering if we are arriving in Orlando at 9, we probably will not get to our resort by 11 should we still head in to DHS or do you think we could still get everything accomplished that he wants to do with spending all day Saturday and Sunday until we leave around 3 p.m. My son is mostly interested in the the shows and the characters, not really into the celebrities. My initial thought was to head to MK for a little bit then try and head over to the studios that night to see Hoopla, since I have read it is less crowded on Friday night than Saturday. After reading this board I feel that the veterans on this board seem to have a better handle on things from other places I have read...any thoughts?

First of all Welcome to the DIs
If you arrive at DHS around noon there's still a lot you can do, you can see the shows at Premiere Theater, get a couple of pics with characters. watch Hoopla and the fireworks. For the schedule from last year look at the first post on this thread, times shouldn't change all that much.
Now if you're planning on being at DHS from rope drop on Saturday and Sunday I would say you can get everything done those 2 days...remember that Hoopla is weather permiting so keep your eye on the forecast.
Look on the first post for Kenny the Pirates link and it'll show you which characters are priorities (the ones yo have to line up early) and which are easier to get.

Even if Ashley isn't a host this year, I really hope she still has a presence there with Her Universe. She's such an inspiration for Star Wars fans, especially girls. Plus, I need more shirts.

Please treat this as a rumor:
Word is that the addition of fireworks is because Hyperspace Hoopla will not be performed this year....
Let's hope this is not true, I'll keep my eyes and ears open

I hope that's not true. I've come to adore the Hoopla. SWW wouldn't be the same without Snig and Oopla.

Holy crap the last weekend now is my birthday! But I already booked for the previous weekend! I really wanted to be there for my birthday. Now to decide if its worth the plane change fee to switch. Really wish they had announced this earlier. Like when the dates originally came out :/

the announce the celebs around April...I'm expecting some voice over actors from Star Wars Rebels since it's the theme this year....fingers crossed...Freddy Prinze Jr?
