You're drinking beer and coffee for breakfast? Now that's what I'm talking about! :lmao:

Gorgeous view! I don't know how much longer you are there, but enjoy every last second! :thumbsup2

Hi friends. :goodvibes I'm back and painfully behind on all of my subscribed threads. I have a goal to catch up this weekend.

I think everyone here but Pam is on Facebook so here's a link Pam to my Mexico photos. It was such a fantastic trip and I'm having post vacation blues in a bad way. I'm trying but it's so cold and bleh here. Here's the link Pam, you don't have to join FB to see the photos. Best news, I've got pesos if we need them in Mexico. The exchange when using USD is 10 to 1. Right now the peso is down so we got 30% more for our money by using pesos.

Welcome back lady!!! So glad you had a fabulous trip :) thanks for the link, I'll head right over.

Loved the photos, thanks so much for sharing! Was that a scorpion? :scared1:

Yes. :scared1: :faint: We about died. I was just about to hop in the shower when I hear my friend scream my name. I wrap a towel around me and run to her. She points to the ground and asks: is that what I think it is? I look down and it's staring at us with its little creepy eyes and snapping its little pinchers. She asks if we're going to kill it or let it go. I said: we'll I'll kill it but I'm certainly not finding it a new home. We started laughing. I grabbed a case of water and slammed it right on top. We lifted the water and it was still moving. I hate for anything to suffer so I jumped on the water, then it was dead. I'm sorry to any PETA folks reading this but between that and the tarantula two days before, I had my fill of creepy crawlers.

I'm glad you liked the photos. It was such an amazing vacation.

I'm ready to switch to cruise mode though. If I didn't have the cruise to look forward to, I'd be a basket case. I'm over the winter.

How are you? :goodvibes

Oh my goodness that's a scary story! And also a tarantula? :faint: on my first trip to Mexico there was a spider as big as a dinner plate in my hotel room, I just about died.

Work has been absolutely crazy, I am so looking forward to the cruise. There's nothing better than an upcoming trip to help with the post trip blues. :drive:

I'm sorry work has been crazy. Are you off any part of the weekend?

I hate big creepy crawly slithering things. :scared1: And of course I seem to attract them. :rotfl2:

WOW! A tarantula AND a scorpion???? :crazy2: But it all equals out, cause you got to see the turtles! So so cool!

I saw you were discussing your upcoming rebooking- sometimes booking a balcony and an inside is cheaper than booking that 5 in a cabin family cabin. We would have paid about $3000 MORE for the 4 of us on our Alaska cruise if we had put us all in one cabin as opposed to booking 2 cabins. Ummm...that was easy! ::yes:: So anyway, make sure you check it all out. They do have historical opening day threads on here for you to check out. Here's the one for the Fantasy-

Going to look at your pics in the morning- a little too tired tonight!

Happy Valentine's day, Chica mas fina! :lovestruc

Thanks for the link. :thumbsup2 I still don't understand how two cabins can be cheaper than one but the extra space would be amazing as well as the additional bathroom.

Tarantula, scorpion, BIG cockroaches by the pier, and sea snakes. :faint: The turtles more than make up for it though. It was such a once in a lifetime thing to see. I feel very fortunate, tan, and extremely depressed being home. I put all my bikinis back in their drawer today. No bueno amiga, no bueno.

The photos through FB are better as they're larger and you can see captions.

Glad to hear you had a fantastic trip. The turtles are SO cool!

Thanks girl! The turtles were unreal and totally unplanned. Such a great last night of vacation and magical memory.

I have definitely removed Mexico from my vacation possibilities! No creepy crawly things for me! I hate bugs and all things icky.

You'll be much happier when you move back here. No pesky cold snowy winters! Just drought!
