Virgin Holidays and MDE

I rang them and didn't seem to have any trouble speaking to them. I had to pay for the call any way as I don't have a land line phone :/

That's good then because every time I have called them in the past they have asked for my UK booking number.

We are here now but booked a package through virgin. Our tickets automatically appeared on mde at 35 days out. The idea of being able to double dip at the moment is pretty non existent as fast passes for the popular rides seem to go within a couple of hours. The not so popular rides you are able to double dip. After speaking to concierge in the hotel the whole idea of the magic bands was that Disney were being more green but he said they spent that much time printing people's times out for them it wasn't quite working out and the staff were getting a lot of abuse.

Don't feel too hard done by about the double dipping - Disney is about to stop issuing KTTW cards to guests checking in at select resorts beginning next week. Hopefully that will help the lack of legacy FP's available to a certain extent (if the double dipping really did have as big an impact as some suspect).

I do feel for the cast members right now. It's one thing having to deal with problems for a few days with a new system but adding unseasonally high volumes of guests and many uncertainties and issues ......

Budgiemama let us know if you get that number. Keep calling until they give it to you :)

The double dipping doesn't affect us but it will for a lot of people that like the thrill rides.

Just an update.
Called Virgin customer services this morning regarding my DD's May trip. She is 200 days out today. virgin stated clearly that the Disney Reference number is not available until 180 days. Their website help page also states that it is not available until 180 days. Bit of a bugger if you want ADR's for the real popular places.

Just an update on this for DD's May trip. I called Virgin on 180 days out as they had said that was the earliest they could get the Disney reference. Was told it wasn't on the system.
Called again t 178 days out and then again today at 176 days out. Still they haven't got it. I was told they would talk to the US and then e-mail it to me... but nothing !!!!

Now its just lucky that DD doesn't want to make any hard-to-get ADR's ie CRT or BOG.

Do these people not know how difficult this can be... why is the US number not freely available ?

What's the number of Virgin please. I'm past 180 days to go (that was last Friday) and I'm wanting to link my resort reservation and my tickets.

Also do you (presumably) need the resort reservation number for Magical Express

Tinks

I must have had the same lady! Received my reservation number within 30 minutes. Circumstances prevented me from linking it into my profile until just now, but that was awesomely quick

That's great. :)

Well I must be the unlucky one, e-mailed concierge Friday and still have had no response :(
