Good afternoon gentlemen. Just checking in. My the tube for my C-PAP machine got wrecked on vacation and I won't be able to get a new one until Friday. Now I'm realizing how much it has helped my sleep apnea the past year. The kids are feeling better. the house is almost put back together.

I like to enjoy the Christmas decorations, but I wait until the day after Thanksgiving before I put anything up. That feels like the start of the season to me.

That is when our tree usually goes up.

Maybe you should have turned on the furnace.

We start early, I will likely start getting all the tubs down from the garage lofts and shelves this weekend, 70+ containers. We used to always start the Friday after Thanksgiving but we have so much stuff and are a bit older that we start earlier. We will not turn on the outside decorations not light the indoor trees until the weekend after Thanksgiving but the wife will likely start inside next week. No joke here, every room gets decorated except our bedroom, almost all decorations / knickknacks are replaced by Christmas, 6 full size trees decorated including a 10 footer in our bonus / family room and a 100% Disney tree. Also have 4 different Department 56 villages - dickens, north pole, Christmas Story and of course Mickey's Christmas Village

Actually opened up some new village pieces and ornaments a couple of weeks ago with holiday tunes playing so I guess we have already started.

Dang that's a lot of stuff. I'd like to do a bit more in the house but the finance committee doesn't like spending money on stuff that is on display for only one month a year.

....and then, Barry happened.

So after I throw away the pumpkin (Death Star. . .nice theme this year), I guess it's time to start getting the Christmas decorations out of the attic.

Just got a 36" Vader Claus to go in the yard with my Yoda Claus, there is a Santa Artoo out there, I need to get.

Laid down the law in my house for next week, Since we are usually in WDW, but everyone could not get off this time, I have declared that starting Sun Nov 2 till Sat Nov10, Our shower will only have Mickey soap and shampoos (we got a ample supply), and all week we are to only drink from our refillable mugs

It does't sound like much but it will make me feel a little better anyway

Sounds like a good plan. I'd add Disney only programs on the TV for the week.

Congrats Jim and Paul on the Sox win tonight. Imagine Jim enjoyed himself immensely at the game. I was at the Ballpark when the Marlins won their first WS. What an incredible experience.

Thanks CJ. What a great win. I know our city has had more than its fair share of championships the last decade or so, but after April, this one is really special. The city needed it.

Happy Halloween! Hope you guys have better weather than what we are getting. Trick or Treat is cancelled and rescheduled for tomorrow night due to severe weather hitting us today. Our Haunted porch decorations are gonna be trashed I'm afraid but maybe we will get lucky.
