***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

For those of you that liked my DH story and decide to steal the idea for a 6 second Disney side video, if you get chosen I get royalties. LOL

I tried to talk DH into a video but he's still not buying the dress up like Pooh idea. :lmao:

BTW I did look and I did buy.
Saved on shipping, saved because my friend was buying too so we got $15 ts instead of paying the $20 and I got the 10% Disney Visa discount. :cheer2:

I was a little bummed though cause the one shirt I would really have liked I could not get my size. Bummer.

That's ok! More $$ for my MVMCP purchases.

Got myself a really cute Mickey tee today! :thumbsup2 Hope to get a couple more for the kids. Would like to start packing this week! I'll see if I can get motivated! :cheer2:

I found an awesome one that I fell in love with at Target. Unfortunately, it was in the Jr section. The XL fit me width wise but it was a bit shorter than I'm used to. I mean, it goes to my waistline but I'm just weird about stuff like that, I guess.

Darn it. I really really liked it!!

Not weird at all. I'm the same way. I just bought a few Disney tee's from the jr. dept. where I work (jcp) but I bought bigger sizes so they're long enough. No one likes someone bending over and seeing everything, or looking like you're wearing a belly shirt. My kids would be embarrassed for me too! There was Mickey, Minnie, Toy Story, Rex from TS, Little Mermaid, Monsters Inc., and some others I can't remember.

You can take them off and on. Similar to a watch without a buckle. I've been fitting mine to my wrist while I wait for my vacation. 24 days! I even cut some of the excess band off so it's more comfortable.

Thanks so much! Good to know:)

UGHHHHH!!!! This happened to me yesterday and I literally was on the phone with tech support from 8:45am until 1:00pm. Everything was a mess on my MDE. They were finally able to merge everything but couldn't delete the "dummy" account so it still shows up. I can't figure out how/why it happened. I've been planning this trip since May and go on MDE 50 times a day....

Ok I don't know if this was purely conicidental, BUT I clicked on the link to book the FP+ for BOG lunch, and now when I log into MDE it told me my account couldn't be located and I had to call Tech Support, some how I got 2 accounts with the same email address, they have to merge my accounts.

Weird!

I have read on some other threads others having the same problem. I think I may just stop trying to get a FP+ for BOG.

I was making pancakes for my son yesterday morning. DH was still home so I made him one. Yes of course it looked like a hidden Mickey.
He took a picture and sent it to my BFF who will also be down in Disney the same week as us.

His message to her was :
Subject: Character Breakfast

Hi Amy,
Joyce is a little obsessed with Disney. Here is the pancake she made me this morning. BUT if she thinks I'm dressing up like Pooh to give her a character breakfast she is going too far!

Whenever I read this I seriously laughed out loud.
:rotfl2:

This really made me look forward to our vacation together. We all could use some more laughter.

Yes, I bought the Little Mermaid one the other day! They are SO cute!

Not coincidental!! I had this experience about a week ago (though I think I spent only about an hour on the phone). They had me choose different character icons for the different accounts and capitalized my name on one that was the right one. Eventually I got my stuff back but they had to delete the account on which I got the BoG FP+ so now I don't know for sure if I have it or not. I am instructed to check at the hotel at check-in or at the park that day. But I really wish I knew since it is the 13th birthday of a member of my party and that is where she wanted to have lunch. Need to know if we must go there right when it opens or if we can use the FP+. But it was awful to lose all the MDE stuff if only temporarily.

I am the same way!!!! If the shirt doesn't fully cover up to my butt area I won't wear it!! I love longer shirts! You will find another! You have time. Good luck!

I'm late in the game BUT my friend and I finally personalized our MagicBands last night!!!! Only 36 Days left!

I bought a couple tops from Old Navy. There are a couple more on the Disney store website I like but I have no idea how they fit.

I bought two in my last Old a Navy order too. I was only going to keep one but they fit so well, I kept both. I find that the Disney Store ones are cuter but they run small and I'm all about being comfortable in the parks.

Finally got it fixed! Thank goodness!

Would you say to order one or two sizes larger than normal? I don't like fitted or too loosey goosey.

:)

Oooh!!! I'll have to see if our JCP has any!!

And I like to have them long and loser fitting so if DH or DS decides to help me out and throw things in the dryer I'm not freaking about it shrinking. :-)

I went with the next size up. Did that for one shirt I bought a while ago because I planned to use it for anight shirt and it was big until I washed and dried it.
Then another PJ set I didn't buy the next size up and pout pout I can't order another and it's too tight for sleeping.

Hi all

Family of four heading to Disney on the 18th of November. My wife two daughters (3.5 and 8 months) are heading there along with my mother. My mom has been to disney in 31 years.

We are all really psyched. Most likely doing Epcot the night of the 18th, Magic Kingdom on the 19th, and Hollywood Studios on the 20th.

My 3.5 year old is super into Cinderella, Mareda, Rapunzel, and Toy Story. Any one have any tips or tricks for making sure we see those characters?

Any and all advice would be appreciated. Fairly certain we are bringing our own double stroller... but aside from that, open to any ideas!

Dan

Are you staying on site? If so, use FP+ selections for at least one meet and greet in each park (you get three selections per one park per day). If not, hit the meet and greets first thing. Third option is to meet some princesses at a meal. Perhaps Cinderella's Royal Table.

Have fun!

Watch the other thread for a reservation at 1900 Park Fare. It is a Cinderella character meal for dinner only. Also the Princess meal at Epcot has a lot of princesses.

Hi Dan, I see you made it over here. Check out kennythepirate.com for all things character related. Lots of tips and tricks. It tends to be easier to meet the characters in Epcot. You can meet Belle in France, Snow White in Germany and Jasmine in Morocco. Good Luck.
