I made my FP+ selections and customized my bands, but I'm not completely sold on the idea. We are very strategic when using our fastpasses and I will be very disappointed to only be able to use 3 a day. Especially when we park hop. I was only able to reserve FP+ for one park per day.

We were at Disney from 9/1 thru 9/10. We used both fp and fp+ and never once had a negative comment from any CM's. I would find it strange that a CM would get annoyed if a guest is getting a paper fp if they have a band. Disney is allowing it and they don't even tell you not to do it. The CM's used to actually get excited when they saw our fastbands.

We are at WDW now and don't have MB. We have YES tickets KTTW card and our room only KTTW card from last year. All 3 are working to pull fastpasses.

It isn't very busy so we really haven't used them. I don't think we even picked up any fastpasses yesterday at MK.

I believe consensus is that it's specifically old KTTWs that are RFID enhanced with no park tickets (ever?) attached to them.
I'm not positive about the 'ever' part.

Yes, if there were park tickets attached to the card, they don't work.

Ok, in order to "double dip", would we have to go into the park twice? Once with our Magic Bands and once with our KTTW card? And what about on our Christmas Party Day? We have hard tickets for that. Can I reserve FP+ for during the party? Do they have the regular FP kiosks open and available during the party?

BTW I don't consider it double dipping because if you don't have the MB testing option then you can pretty much get unlimited fast passes...or at least more than 3. Not to mention you can get them whenever you like...at whichever park you like. We are screwed on the days we park hop. I had to reserve all fp+ selections for the same park. So having the KTTW card will be nice.

You only need to enter with the MBs. The KTTW cards are already active.

No FPs of any kind during parties.

In our case two weeks ago, we only entered once using the MB. Our KTTW cards worked at the FP machines.

That is how FP+ is designed and is another negative of the new system.
