Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

Question: The site states, [Your MagicBands will serve as your Disney's Magical Express "tickets"]

Is there a good way to confirm that your Magical Express info is correct?

You would need to call Disney. You should still get a packet in the mail as well since you will need luggage tags, you just won't need to show the ticket at the ME desk. You will scan your band instead.
 
How are those checking in on 11/30 getting the ability to customize MBs already? I'm reading about modifying check-in, but you can't check-in onilne until you're 60 days out, so are they modifying it as in changing their check-in date? So confusing :)

I'm at CBR, has anyone else there been able to go any further (customize, FP+, etc)?
 
So I have an odd Fastpass+ question.

I am scheduled to be onsite with the following reservations:
November 8-11 - room only
November 11-17 package with 2 day ticket

so the reason for a 2 day ticket is because that is the minimum quantity of ticket that you can get to qualify for a free dining package, plus I will not use it, instead i will turn it in as a credit for an annual pass (been a pass holder for many years).

I just logged into my account to see if I can access the fastpass+ and I can, however after I did 2 reservations, it tells me that I have reached my limit due to quantity of my ticket. Do they not link annual passes to this service?

Yesterday, after reading all the posts here, I was able to select my Fast Pass+ choices. I probably will revise some of them, but am THRILLED that Fantasmic was an option on my first day. Less waits with a 4-year-old is good. Hopefully he won't be too scared by it.

Though I initially couldn't see Magic Bands as an option. But I hadn't done the online check-in. After I did that this morning, the Customize Magic Bands popped up immediately. So I think I am all set.

Just want to add that as of a couple of weeks ago, you still need the booklet for the RETURN trip to the airport as the DME guys have no way of scanning the bracelets. We only used our bracelets at MCO to go to WDW.

Most likely the Magical Express info is not on the band, all the people at the desk need from your Band is the resort you are checking in at that day. Cool!

We have never used the booklet for the return trip. We always get a letter in our room with a bar code at the top and use that.

Nothing is on the band. There is a chip in the band that "talks" to Disney's database where your information is stored. Anything linked to your MDE profile (as your ME reservation would be) is accessible by the band.
 
We are doing a split stay and got magic bands for the last part but not the first. Bay Lake tower is the one we are missing.....

Does your check in date fall after they go live with the system? If so, try going through on line check in again (you will probably get an error message). Then log out of your account and back in. You may have to do this a few times but it has worked for others. Good luck!
 
I finally was able to customize our MB's today, I did notice it said they will serve as our room keys and ME.

Perhaps once full roll out occurs the ME Drivers will be able to scan for the return trip

I had to link my annual passes myself. I entered the number on the bottom of the pass. Other people have said they have scanned the bar code using the app to get the annual pass linked. Good luck!
 
Once again you guys are the best. I was able to redo online checkin, log out, log back in, and then I could customize my bands. So excited!!!!!

I have a split stay for 11/29(1day) and 11/30(6days) (Resorts: AOA and then POP) I was not able to customize MB yesterday when Nov came available. However, this morning when I logged in I noticed that my wording changed to "Personalize Magicbands" and today I was able to customize them. I too was able to customize 2 sets of Mb's since I have split stays. I am still 65 days out for my first night but 66 days out for the trip I actually have tickets. From what everyone is saying it looks like you need to be under the 60 da make to be able to do FB+. So I will wait until then. (Who am I fooling..actually, I will still check everyday)

While I appreciate the "technical clarification" --- that is exactly what I just said.

Since the chip is part of the band, then I believe most people will continue to say stuff like "my info is on the band."

So today I logged onto MDE and I am able to make fastpass+ selections but no options for magic bands. I have not done online check in though. Do I need to do that to have the option for the magic bands?
Didn't work for me until I did the online check-in.
 
I can't do this any more!!! MBs - no MBs. FP+ - BOG lunch ressies!!! This is gonna be a relaxing trip if it kills me so I am letting all of this go - sort of.

Questions:

DD still does not show tickets under our package ressie. I have 1 set and DH has 2 sets - none for DD. I contacted IT and I guess (hope) they are working on it but, if I have this right, will I not be able to get FB+ for her until the issue is fixed correct?

If she links her AP, will that show in my MDE (she is linked to plan/see/etc) and can I make FP+ using that as her ticket?

She will not be using the 2 day ticket she doesn't actually have yet until her AP renewal comes up. If the 2 pass gets set up for her in the system and is put on her MBs, how does she NOT use those tickets for park admission?

If you purchase tickets directly through disneyworld.com can you link them right away to your resort reservation? If so, how? Thanks so much!
