No, the elevators are actually right on the other side of the lobby. The only potential source of noise I could see was the metal gate of the Concierger stairway, but it was still a bit further up the corridor and we never heard a thing.

I don't suppose anyone has any photos that scream holy-cow-that's-amazing-I-would-only-want-to-book-a-Pembe-Savannah-view? I have two photos from the balcony during our last stay (Kidani Village - Pembe Savannah). I loved seeing okapi and the red river hogs. But the savannah itself was sort of depressing, I thought. I'm not exactly a great photographer, either. We're going back in January, and everyone but me wants to stay on the Pembe Savannah again. The first one isn't so bad. But that second one leaves a bit to be desired. Maybe there's someone out there with skills who can show me how great it looks?

Any of you other AKL lovers out there have any photos of 1 bedroom villas? Only have ever stayed in studios and only ever stayed in Jambo house.

thinking about upgrading to a 1 bedroom and stepping out of our comfort zone and heading to Kidani!

Yes, DVC at Jambo. I can't remember the room number. But it was the second to last bead on the Zebra Trail.

Near the end of the hall, past the Kidani pool. A bit of a hike from the main elevators. Third floor with lots of views of the deer and antelope variety. I was surprised it was considered standard view.
