F&W Festival question....we'll be down there during this. Do we have to pay the $70/person to enjoy it or is there some stuff we can eat/drink without paying it? And just do a pay as we go thing.

Greetings from Downtown Disney everyone!!! I just had the biggest shake ever at Beaches & Cream and now I'm going to give all my money to Disney for wonderful things. Ok not all but some.

Nice - so what are you going to bring us, Joe? :rotfl2:

So awesome! You will have to post some pictures of at least something you buy, so that we can shop Disney vicariously!

F&W happens from the time World Showcase opens until it closes. You will enter Epcot like normal with your park ticket. There are booths from different countries that sell food and drinks that you will have to purchase to try and every park goer has access to these booths. There are separate ticketed events that you can purchase tickets for.

Did that help? This is my first year going so hopefully I'm giving you correct info. :)

That did help...thank you. I didn't want to spend another $280 for F&W. But I'd like to sample food at the different countries for the festival.

When we were there 2 years ago, we just paid as we went along. :thumbsup2

I've heard that you can use your snack credits from the dining plan for some of the booth snacks. The snacks range from $4 to $8 each and the drinks a dollar or two more for that range. It's highly recommended that you share a snack so everyone in your group gets a bite and leaves room to try more.

We'd probably do that anyway. We'll stretch a credit to be able to stretch more lol

You don't have to be paid in full to get the Magic Bands. I have clients who are almost at 45 days and they have been able to customize their bands. They don't ship out until about 30 days prior to departure.

Some of my clients have been able to select FP+ attractions at 60 days, but for most it has been at 30 days.

Thank you!

My Magic Bands arrived today!!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1: It's getting closer!

Woohoo - Grats!!

Yeah!!!!!! :-)

After planning this trip for so long, it's hard to believe that this time next week, I'll actually be at Disney. :woohoo: :beach: I've finished DSIL's & DD's MNSSHP costumes (King Stefan & Queen - DGD is going to be Sleeping Beauty). Now I can work on my Flora costume and [hopefully] have it done in time. Wish me luck therepixiedust: - have to make dress, cape, hat & wings before next Wednesday. :faint::eek: Now to post this so I can see my countdown ticker show less than a week to go. LOL

Hmmm so I made ressie at Biergarten for the day we will be in Epcot. It's a late dinner (7:00) but we will be in Epcot after all AND it's F&W, I'm starting to question if we will even want to sit down to a meal like that??

I'm in that boat too. Our first full day, we are doing EPCOT, WS only, no Future World at all (saving it for a 2nd EPCOT day). We're doing Whispering Canyon for breakfast and I've got a Via Napoli ressie for 4:30. I'm afraid that after snacking our way around the world with F&W we won't even want to eat dinner. I am over scheduled on TS meals though (total 9 credits, we only have 7 available!) because of 2 signature dinners, so missing one might be a good thing.

What is the latest I can cancel a TS ADR? Can I just walk up to the podium at 4:15 and tell them we won't be using our ADR, or should I get on MDE and cancel as soon as I think we probably won't be using it?

You have to cancel your reservation at least 24 hours in advance to avoid the $10 cancellation/no-show fee.

Well, shoot! Not the kind of info a procrastinator like me wants to hear. :(

Thank you for the info though, I was not sure at all.
