Compilation of historic DCL *GT sailings and other discounts

It's showing 69%...
the funny thing is that there is no action at all whatsoever on any of the roll call threads for this cruise (here, cc, cf, etc)... none! it makes it "appear" empty thus far, giving me maybe a false sense of expectation that it's not selling well?

It's a 3 night? I looked at cruise fish and that's all I could find for the Magic on Jan 2nd. It's pretty far off. Being the holiday season I bet it gets more full as the time draws near. Have you booked it just in case? You can always cancel right before the PIF date if the sales are still poor.

How do you find the %full on cruisefish? I poked around and couldn't find it.

When you go to the site, pick your ship, and then the type of cruise (7 night Western, etc) and don't go further and click the date. That's where you see it. Once you click the date you won't see the % anymore.

Yes, the 3 night... we have not booked it yet. We are not totally committed to this cruise, unless the price is "right," however, we are going on the cruise immediately following (1/6 out of Canaveral) doing a "modified" b2b. Unfortunately, we will likely wait 'til we are less than 75 days out to book, unless finances change a bit and we find ourselves w/extra cash (happens occasionally as dh is self-employed), so keep your fingers crossed for us!

The Fantasy had some *GT rates (don't know if they were IGT OGT or VGT) on the 10/5 and 10/12 cruises earlier in the week. They only showed up on the website for about 24 hours but they were there!!!

As of 5 minutes ago (were first showing up on the DCL website late last night) the 10/27/13 Magic Halloween cruise out of Miami has IGT and OGT rates available.

9/8 Dream 4 night VGT
9/15 Dream 4 night VGT
9/28 Fantasy 7 night western VGT

Updated. Thanks!:)

Fantasy had VGT rates $770 pp for sailings on 10/5 and 10/12.

The 10/5 sailing also has IGT for $630pp and OGT for $700pp as of right now. :)

Edited to add: It looks like you have these two listed already, mistakenly, as November sailings.

I am still watching and waiting for Nov. 30th Fantasy-Eastern :scared:

Just wanted to throw out there that I just checked for the 5th time today and VGT rates are now available for Nov. 2nd Fantasy Eastern! $1260

C'Mon....the anticipation for grabbing this rate for Nov 30th is killing me!!!!!:rotfl2:

IGT and VGT available for all Nov Fantasy sailings EXCEPT Nov 30 that I am watching for!!! It's past PIF date now so should I believe that Disney is not going to produce VGT rate for the after thanksgiving cruise?!? Still crossing fingers...really really really want to go to Eastern Caribbean!

Updated, thanks!

Have you looked to see if the cruise has a lot of availability or not?

According to cruise fish 64% if categories. I understand that to mean that 64% of categories have at least 1 stateroom available not that 64% overall availability. Don't know how else to tell how full the ship is?!

I think you have to just sort of play around with the booking site and see how many avail rooms come up to choose from in each of the various categories, kwim?

I think I will just keep checking the pricing online multiple times a day stalking for VGT rate to pop up :) Thank you though!!!

Question: are the VGT rates per person for the entire party or are they just the first two people with 3rd and 4th being cheaper like the usual rates?

The 3rd and 4th guest are cheaper. Harder to find these rates with 4 ppl per room tho.

Do the med cruises ever offer *GT fares? We are looking at the May 31, 2014 Magic sailing out of Barcelona. Love to get a deal, but don't want to wait if it isn't going to happen. Thanks!
