For those with either the Halloween or Christmas Party tickets and linked them to MDE, did it give you another 3 fastpasses? So if you has a 5 day magic your way ticket (so 15 FP+) did the Halloween/Christmas ticket give you 3 more (18 total) and those 3 extras could be used right before the party?
 
My husband and I are selected for MagicBands/Fastpass+ for our upcoming trip. I have mobility issues (wheelchair). My question is about Fantastic. We have a Fastpass+ for 8pm Fantasmic and it says to arrive between 7:25p and 7:45pm which is thrilling to avoid arriving super-early to snag a wheelchair accessible spot.

Handicap accessible seating tends to go fast at Fantasmic as there aren't very many spots. My question is, do they reserve seating with Fastpass+ and if so, do they also reserve handicap accessible seating? I have arrived too late in the past to snatch a handicap spot and was relegated to an annex area where the bars were in my way and I was unable to view the show.

I'd hate for this to happen again because I thought I'd be good with the Fastpass+. I wish they had an option for Parades/Fireworks to note that one needs accessible seating such as when making ADRs.

I've made some FP+ reservations for our October trip. The times weren't really what I would have picked but we can make use of some of them. We like to get to parks on EMH at 8am and do the big rides and looking at the times I have in FP+, we will have prob done them by then.

If we do not use a FP does it go against us? Or can we cancel them on the day say if we've already done the rides?

Do we also get to use the normal in park paper FP? Like I say the times aren't great so we were hoping to use the kiosk in park to grab an earlier FP if possible.

Hi Nic! You should be able to change the times of your chosen rides, if you click the "edit" button. On mine, there were several different time-frame options to choose from for each FP+ ride.

You do not have to use the FP+ and you can change the times of the rides even the day of as your trip might change. It is your trip, so nothing goes against you! :) You only get 3 FP+ per day, so it is my understanding that if you don't go during your selected time window for a FP+, then you can't reschedule that one.

It is my understanding that during the "test period" at least that we will still be able to use the regular paper FP in addition to FP+.

Another poster reported being able to choose additional FP+ for the day of the party after linking their MNSSHP tix. All selections were before 7pm.
 


You only get 3 FP+ per day, so it is my understanding that if you don't go during your selected time window for a FP+, then you can't reschedule that one.

Slight correction - You do only get 3 FP+ per day, BUT if you miss your FP+ return time window or if your plans change, you have the ability make another selection (edit your FP+) based on availability. You don't lose that FP+...you still can have 3 FP+'s that day. :)

It was easy and fun to pick out the FP+s except for the ine's I couldn't....

Hollywood Studios Tower of Terror was not available from 6-7 as I desired.
Barnstormer was unavailable 11-12 as I desired
Buzz Lightyear was unavailable 4-5 as I desired

Those three threw a little wrench in my plans...but I can manage...especially since buzz and barnstormer may have manageable standbys.

1. Friday 11/1 barely any MK rides are loaded...I didn't have over half of them in there to choose from! I'll look back in a few days. Have others noticed this?

2. Also is astro Orbitor not an option at MK? I looked on three different days and it was never listed. Hate the lines at that ride so we never go on it :)
 
Sorry if this has already been covered - I haven't seen it come up, but I don't have time to read through EVERY MB/FP+ thread, either!

I have an AP - it's been converted to RFID, but I have NOT registered the new RFID card on MDE. I can still access the AP portal in MDE, though, because I'd already been registered with the old, paper AP. My AP doesn't show up as a ticket, but I can still get to AP promotions, etc.

I have a reservation in early Oct. and am being asked on MDE to confirm my shipping address for MB. MDE is NOT giving me access to FP+.

I will not be linking my RFID AP to MDE before this trip. So, is there any compelling reason to accept a MB? Would it do anything more than unlock my room door? :confused3

Your ticket is probably linked the old fashioned way, just linked to your email, this to the AP portal. I do not have an RFID AP yet, but I linked my AP to it, and can make FP+ selections.

If you want FP+, you will have to link your AP. looks like they will send you magic bands, even if you don't customize them. They will do that for you. Whether you use them to test the system, like touch to pay, etc, that's your choice. If you are staying at a test resort during that test period, you are gonna get them anyway.

This is incredibly strange. Are you sure that you don't have any other FP+ that interfere with those time slots? Even if you're overlapping by 5 minutes, it won't let you pick those slots. (If you have an attraction FP+ for 3:05 to 4:05, you wouldn't be able to pick Buzz Lightyear from 4:00 - 5:00, it would "block out" two windows: 3:00-4:00 and 4:00-5:00.)

If there are no other conflicting FP+, you might want to just check back from time to time. There's simply no way that 60 days out time slots are already "selling out" for things like Barnstormer. It's either a glitch or you have conflicting FP+.

This is for sure their issue. Those slots are definitely available this far out.
 
just want to give a heads up on the surveys you will receive after, there is only 1 question where you can freely type comments, about 75% of the way through. The question asks if there is anything you learned on your trip that you didn't know before your trip. This is the only chance you will have to make comments so if there's anything you need to say, do it there. That's where I expressed my displeasure with only being able to get 3-4 FP+ per day. There is a question later about if you felt the 3-4 was enough, not enough or just right and I HOPE a lot of people are saying not enough!

It did for me. I have 6 day passes and party tix and I picked 7 days of passes

Question about customizing the magic bands:
There are 5 of us in our party. I was able to customize for three of us.I wants able to customize bands for the youngest 2... Next to their names it says ... There was a problem retrieving details about this guest. When i click on the customize tab for their bands it says... Sorry their was a problem completing your request. Try again later....
Should i wait a while and try again or should i call someone? Who do i call? Is it because they are 9 & 4? The other 3 of us are adults... Will they be getting a band at all.... i know if my daughter is wearing a band and doesnt get pink one she will probably freak out when she sees others with a pink band...
any advice would help..

It is likely an issue with their ages, but you should still be able to customize their bands and they will still get them, although if you can't customize them in time they'll be gray.

Call Disney. It was too late for me, but it might be because they are not showing up on the reservation. My youngest was showing up on our Disney Travel Company confirmation and even on MDE for MB's, but somehow he was not showing up on MDE reservations on their end.:confused3 I thought it was because of his age, almost 2, but after reading on here that others were able to customize bands for their child under 3, I called Disney and was told everyone should receive band. When I called Disney and was prompted to what call was regarding, I just said "MagicBands" and it directed me to a very helpful CM. Good luck!!!
