Free Dining Extension ~ Oct-Dec

I just saw what was posted on "Your First Visit" it looks like a REALLY good chance there will be free dining after September. He has a source that has never been wrong yet telling him it will be coming out for South America and Europe on August 1st and he said US deals usually follow! Woohoo!!!

Hooray!!!! Finally some dates! Hopefully it is released to disney visa holders on the 29th!!!!

I don't like those dates lol. We were planning on doing 10/13-10/15 and then the dark side for a few days. I could do dark side first and then disney but if we were there from 10/16-10/18 and checked out on 10/19 with park tix on 10/16-10/18 would we get FD for all 3 days or just the 18?

I'm here I'm here. Today at work has been frantic.

These rumors are solid. I converse with Dave frequently on this very topic.

Like I said. All dates may not have been included if certain ones were popular.

Remember too that visa holders will get a few days advance. That should fall on the 29th. Also remember you can book up to fourteen days out, so if you book on the last day of an offering, you can extend free dining for your entire stay.

I've updated the first post as well.

With the current dates given, you would have to check-in on the 18th and would then get free dining for entire stay up to 14 days and with at least 2 day base ticket purchase for each person. The key is the check-in day; you have to check-in on one of the days within the promo range for discount to apply. I know, that can bite! Good luck! Are your dates flexible????:goodvibes

To add to this, FD also requires a 3 night minimum stay.

Thanks for the reply. Nope, not flexible really, unless I want the kids to miss a week of school. As of now they are missing 3 so what's a few more lol. If it comes to that we may change the dates.

Thanks for the info!

Oh my gosh!!! Waiting til the 29th is going to be torture but this made my DAY!!

(I vote u start a new thread!)

Thank youuuuu!!

I'm wondering if I should start a new thread so this information isn't lost.

Yes, and be sure to post the link here. Maybe in giant colored print and ask people to only post in the new thread to make sure the link stays on the last page and doesn't get lost.

Wow, this is great, thanks so much!

Do you anticipate RO discounts for October to come out late August?

so I noticed on the original post that the date has been changed to state that free dining would start on September 29th. Is this correct? We check in on the 28th (Saturday). I don't want to have to try and change up our package already booked and do a one night room only and then do a package starting on Sunday and risk having to move rooms/etc.

So I'm confused. Have these new dates been confirmed? (Specifically dec 12)

If so we will be able to take advantage of FD with a split stay :) I had given up hope since the pin dates excluded Pop Warner week. Now to calculate if FD is a better deal for us.

We are trying to decide which way to go for our October trip....book with our AP discount (we usually stay at value resorts, so not much of a discount) or book the room no discount, pay for the 2day tickets (to give to grandkids on a later trip) and get free dining. I guess I will just have to run the numbers and see what makes sense. Anyone else already done that and care to share the results?

Bummer on the dates. We got a pin code for ours the 1st week of Dec but our family that we wanted to go with us didn't and now they probably won't get to come. :(

So sorry! Are you already using 3 rooms??? If they are going the same time, you can book up to 3 rooms with your PIN. Just FYI- I know there can be other circumstances that make things more difficult. Good luck!!:grouphug:
