Hi,
After a long absence we are finally returning to Disney World. We are planning on staying at the Yacht Club on Club Level. I cannot remember if visitors are allowed in your room.
Our son & girlfriend are staying at a different hotel, and will be meeting us every morning at the Yacht Club. Can we bring them up to our room? Sorry if this is already posted somewhere. I tried to find it but could not.
The lounges are for CL guests only. There is barely enough food for the people paying for it so I really don't think guests should be allowed to bring guests from other floors or other resorts. Now as for your room, I think it's fine to have people come up there. I'm not really sure why you would want to hang in the room when you're at WDW but I don't see a problem with it. Typically we have our family members meet us in the lobby because I don't even want to raise eyebrows of the CL staff bringing people up to the floor. But that's just my own personal opinion.
When using Magical Express, what has your experience been with luggage arrival? Does it get there in a reasonable time frame? Do you get any special consideration being club level? I am concerned about being stuck for the evening without luggage (we arrive at 1:00 PM).
When you say arrive at 1:00 do you mean your plane lands at 1:00? It's hard to know for sure what time you'll arrive at the resort, but I wouldn't count on seeing your luggage for at least a couple of hours. You can always choose to not use your yellow luggage tags and just go down to baggage claim and get them yourself and take them on the bus. We've done that many times.
