Do I DARE say that my family & I have a ADR for BOG next month that I WAS going to cancel. That is until I realized how hard it is to dine there. I'm the one who wants to go- I told DH & DS11, you WILL eat there & LOVE it, or at least tell ME you love it. I wish extra luck & pixie dust to all trying to get in.

I didn't realize Ohana and BOG were that difficult to get. I thought the tough one for me to get would be CRT. I even asked the IPO if I should make an extra reservation request for CRT just in case she couldn't get us in on the day I wanted. She told me that she was positive I would get CRT no problem but that my BOG would be the near impossible one. Still got it right at my 180 day mark.

People do seem to cancel all the time so just keep checking for an opening and the best of luck to you.

Best CL overall on property, in my opinion and I've stayed at several (GF, Poly, AKL, WL, BWI).
Great lounge, STELLAR staff, great-looking rooms and views (we had MK view).
I love how the concierge desk is just outside of elevators and how the lounge opens up beyond and then long balcony with great views :wizard:

VERY professional feel and loved the food offerings. Will be back! :thumbsup2

I posted some pics on CR thread but here are a few more:

Does WL club level have oatmeal at breakfast? Can you request it? Would it be ok to bring your own instant oatmeal and use the hot water in the lounge?

I cheated, I left dh and ds out of it and only went with dd17. ;)

WE loved it and it was more fun with out the guys being bored.

Your guys are not going to love it the way us girls do BUT moms should get what we want sometimes because we usually put everyone else's needs first.:thumbsup2

The food was tasty and the atmosphere was so "castle-y" princess: . DD liked the light up goblet even at her age.

You will love it!

Yes, was there in February and they had it each morning... Along with brown sugar, and raisins to mix in. It was delicious!!

You got bring your own instant if you wanted but definitely not necessary.

We were there in May. They did not have oatmeal.

WL only offers oatmeal seasonally from December 21 - March 19. Yes, you could certainly bring your own and use the hot water for the tea.

Thanks for the review :) We stayed at the CR once (not CL) and I never thought I'd go back, but your report makes me think maybe. ;)

Hi,

After a long absence we are finally returning to Disney World. We are planning on staying at the Yacht Club on Club Level. I cannot remember if visitors are allowed in your room.
Our son & girlfriend are staying at a different hotel, and will be meeting us every morning at the Yacht Club. Can we bring them up to our room? Sorry if this is already posted somewhere. I tried to find it but could not.

When using Magical Express, what has your experience been with luggage arrival? Does it get there in a reasonable time frame? Do you get any special consideration being club level? I am concerned about being stuck for the evening without luggage (we arrive at 1:00 PM).

So very excited to be returning to the Hawaii longhouse this coming October and am wondering if Chef Eugene is still heading up the CL lounge? He had just taken over when we were last there and we thought he was amazing. He was so helpful and sweet to us so we are really hoping to see him again this trip.

TIA

You can bring them to your room, but not to the lounge. The lounge and its offerings are for CL guests only.

I guess I broke the rules. Brought a friend up once. No one said a thing. What's the difference then bringing snacks back to the room?

As bowbat posted, you can take anyone up to your room, just not into the lounge.

When using Magical Express, what has your experience been with luggage arrival? Does it get there in a reasonable time frame? Do you get any special consideration being club level? I am concerned about being stuck for the evening without luggage (we arrive at 1:00 PM).

We've never used DME, but from what I've read about it, I think it could take a few hours before getting your luggage. If you arrive at 1:00 pm, you might not see your luggage until around 4:00-5:00 pm. Hopefully someone will be able to give a more accurate time frame from experience :).

I can't help with your question about Chef Eugene, but just wanted to say congrats on being able to get back to the Poly :goodvibes.

I guess I broke the rules. Brought a friend up once. No one said a thing. What's the difference then bringing snacks back to the room?

There's no problem with taking others to your room....they just can't (or aren't supposed to) go to the lounge as the lounge/offerings are for CL guests only, as the pp mentioned.

johnsonet, wonderful photos and review. We've never stayed at CR proper but now I am determined to try club level there one day even if for a short stay. Thanks for sharing.

First, I just want to say thanks to everyone who responded. The vote seemed to be unanimous for the cruise. I talked it over with DH, and he agreed, so we're on board! We're going to check out of AKL CL on Oct. 24th and do the 3-night Dream.

west&east, you're a bad influence! :lmao: I mentioned CL on the cruise to DH, and after looking at some reviews and some pix online of the extended balcony category V rooms, he realized one of those was still available on deck 12 for the cruise we wanted, and booked it! So, now we'll go from AKL CL to CL on the Dream with an extended balcony.

I knew that "once in a lifetime" AKL CL trip we took in April would come back to bite me! We're completely spoiled now. ;) My $$ disney trips have become $$$$$$$$$$$ trips!

Sorry I have been off line for a while but congrats on the cat V!! We upgraded to cat V from a 5c about a week before our cruise. The nice thing is that the price is what you would have paid at time of booking. Reading the latest comments on how club level does not get you concierge service, I can truly say that the concierge staff on DCL is amazing. Read up on the DCL board. They will take care of so many things before and during your trip. We got our preferred dining rotation, amazing tables in each dining room, Palo and Remy reservations all one week before the cruise. The concierge are basically your private guest services. You never have to stand in line at guest services for anything. They even went down to the spa and put DH's name on the spin class list. We ordered photos in the lounge on their ipad and they picked them up and delivered them to our room so we didn't have to deal with the photo craziness the last night.

Since I've been lurking on the disboards (way before i joined) I have:

1. bought annual passes. twice. even though i live 1,000 miles away.
2. stayed CL at a deluxe, instead of my usual POR
3. now booked CL on DCL, even though I swore I'd never cruise DCL again because it's so much more expensive than royal caribbean, which is our favorite.

This whole website is a bad influence!!! :rotfl2:

Yup, we have APs and now TIW living in Charlotte. We are addicted to CL (although the Waldorf Orlando was amazing) and concierge on DCL will spoil you forever.
