These are NOT the rooms that I paid for! 3 Resorts in 10 days - Trivia Answers 9/3

I swore I posted here yesterday and it's gone. WAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And now I won't remember everything as I was 3 updates behind.

Love that you used the CL as much as you did but took it back tot he room.

Didn't love the crow that stole your bagel

ADORE Ger's bread pudding, have made it several times and that is a far better breakfast anyway.

Sad you are leaving but excited to see the next chapter!

Thank you for all your son does for our country.

LOVE the DLR/DCA day :goodvibes have got to get down there!

That room is fantastic, amazing pixie dust!

The pictures of you guys in the porthole windows are awesome!

Can't wait to hear about BLT...

I bet you were a little sad to leave that beautiful room! Concierge staff sounds wonderful. How nice for them to send you off with refreshments. :)

Too bad you had to leave your lovely suite !! How awesome that you got the chance to stay there. Looking forward to seeing your pics of BLT. We loved it when we stayed there in April. I sent you a Facebook request.

Susan

The pictures of you gals in the portholes are awesome!! Love them!!

And yeah! A scale?!? On vacation?!? Um! Not for me!! Especially since I had 2 desserts yesterday!!

Loved the pictures from your Memorial Day visit to DL. There are some really cute pictures of you and Michael!

I am going to start off my comments about the bye-bye to your amazing suite with a quiz...

Who has been sleeping in "your" (YC) bed this past week???

What an amazing suite that is!!! Thank you so much for sharing your pictures and showing us all of the wonderful details and features.

The porthole pictures are ADORABLE!!!

What a nice send-off from the CL staff.

:goodvibes

Oh what a bitter-sweet moment, leaving that room! I'm glad you got some farewell pictures. I love the pictures in the porthole! So cute!

OK, first I have to go back a bit...

Oh my YES I am indeed into Arrested Development. I watched the new season in a marathon (love Netflix). It was also cool that a ton of Office alums were in it. I loved it!

I know I have to re-see D-Land. And to have a personal tour guide... Perhaps when I'm out there for my wedding to Stacey... :lmao:
I most definitely saw Indiana Jones. So much better than Dinosaur!

OK, now onto THIS update.

You never need to use a scale ever... they're lying evil things.

Haha, that's so cool. Even when staying in this luxury, you still made your own bed. You gotta respect that. ;)

You two are so precious with your window pics! I swear you're more like sisters. :flower3:

Was that a "National Treasure" reference? It's a Disney movie so even more appropriate.

Cynthia I hate when that happens - but thanks for stopping by and commenting! Oh, and your Aluani TR looks like it is going to be AWESOME!!

Thanks for your kind comments regarding my son's service. :goodvibes

Awwww thanks! We enjoyed a little silliness before we checked out. :)

Hi Kelli! This may seem strange to say but I think we knew that our 3 nights there was perfect... not too short since 1 day would probably make us feel like it was such a tease... and of course, 1 more day is always my mantra but for us, this was fine. It was fun to think that in a few hours another family would walk through those doors and feel the excitement we did 3 days earlier. :)

The CL staff were so friendly and thoughtful. Loved them!

Hi Susan! Got the FB invite - thanks! You are a very creative person with your quilting! In Nebraska a couple weeks ago we spent time with a lady who has made over 60 quilts in the last 6 years since she's retired. I learned about using feed sacks and other themed elements. It was so interesting and made me wish I was more creative.

I think of you and your family when I think of BLT as well since you stay there.

The pictures of you gals in the portholes are awesome!! Love them!!

Hey Paula! Yeah... who would even want to use a scale on vacation?

I've enjoyed following along with your live dining reviews. Heck sometimes you have to have an ice cream chaser after a nice dessert! :thumbsup2

Wishing you safe travels back from Florida!

Ha! I love that Dee! Who has been sleeping in that luxurious suite bed? Paula (Smile4stamps) sent me a photo of "our room" from the friendship boat yesterday.

Those CL folks are fabulous. I look forward to seeing them in August. :)

I hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Hi Wendy! We got a little goofy there at the end of our stay.... likely the result of the "just one more photo" problem that I have.

OK, first I have to go back a bit...

Hi Rob!! Em says that I'm like Lucille 1! (I don't have a favorite child.. I don't care for Gob [had to look that up since I thought it was Job]!) Not sure if I should be proud or horrified. I haven't watched enough to know yet. If this is completely an insult please PM her and give her heck! (She's having me watch the pilot right now since I've seen them out of order.. she said I have to pay attention. Hmph!)

I'm sure I'll get an invite to the wedding since I should be the matron of honor for Stace. I'll check my mail box.

Yeah.. the OCD part of me has to be tidy and organized. Drives my family crazy at home too!

Wait til you see the cartwheels in the room video.... we're a couple of crazy gals!

Uhh yeah, totally a National Treasure reference. You are sharp! (And I'm a liar! I didn't connect that so it was just me being nosey and snooping.)

Have a great day!

I have made more than I can count. If I thought about it and really sat down and counted each one, I would have to say about 25 or so. My mother gave me a huge box of feed sack fabrics. Some were real and most were reproductions, but I must have made 3-4 quilts out of them. I just love those old calicos.

I have taken a hiatus from quilting for several years, but now that the kids are older and I get interrupted so much less, then I decided to start back up again. I have always wanted to do a blue and white one and have been collecting blue and white fabrics for years. It is turning out so well. I'll post a photo when I am finished !!

Susan please do share your completed product! Is that the one that you had photos of the squares on FB? so lovely!:)

Wednesday February 27, 2013: Day 5, Part 3

We weren’t ready to leave the resort yet since we wanted to pick up some gifts to take back home from the Fittings and Fairings store at the YC resort. I had seen some water-color prints of the resort earlier in our stay but they were gone when I looked for them. No worries, there was a stack in the back and I had my choice of the smaller or larger print. I chose the larger print, a cute sundress and a few other items.

I can't resist.. Cynthia do you see anything in this photo that reminds you of your last day at AKL?

In the lobby area they have refreshments for the guests. This day was water with lemon. (It sure looks yellow for water but that's what the sign said... hmmm...) Regardless, that was such a nice touch.

While we were still guests of the hotel we went into Storm-along Bay to dip our feet in the pool and take some photos. After showing our room cards, we were given wrist-bands and allowed entry. It was a lovely mild day and who wouldn’t have enjoyed a day relaxing at the pool?

We still had a few photos that we wanted to take of the resort before we took the boat to DHS.

Consulting my handy dandy master plan... we had to get moving to DHS since another meal was waiting for us soon.

Love your port-hole window pictures! :thumbsup2 I chuckled when I saw the one with you in the window because it almost looked like you were wedging yourself in the window on purpose because you didn't want to leave the suite! :rotfl: And given how awesome the suite was, it would have been a completely appropriate response - I would have done the same. ;)

Stormalong Bay looks really good. Can't wait to see it in person in October although not sure if I'll have time to take a swim.

Right I had a bit of catching up to do

Firstly who in their right mind would put a pair of scales in a WDW bathroom??!! - have these people never heard of Tonga Toast ;)

Next - just how super cute do you and Em look at your porthole modelling shoot!

Finally - Mmm, where have I seen that rather splendid color coded spreadsheet before? ;)

Hi Brenda!!! We are back and we had an amazing trip and wedding, I wanted to say thank you again for your kindness!!!

I am getting all caught up and I love, love all your updates! The suite is so beautiful and those sunrise pics are just amazing! I have a question for you, when we took the friendship boat from Epcot to DHS one night we noticed the boats blare the horns a lot on that trip around, is it disturbing at all? DH :-))) said it looks so awesome there but was concerned about that!

We are staying at the Beach Club in September (I might have mentioned that) and I can't wait to hang at the pool. It will be so nice to be close to Epcot as well.

Squeeeee - I LOVE your spreadsheet. It looks just like mine !! :lmao: Love it !!

Love the dress! I love that gift shop, think it is one of the best, if not the best on property. Was the hat a purchase or just modeled? It's cute too!

:lmao: Jeff would have been SO much happier with that option than what they had at AKL. Poor guy, he'd kill me.

Well... According to some posts I have seen, members of England's Royal Family have been staying at the YC this past week. Prince Edward, Queen Elizabeth's youngest son, his family and entourage were at YC CL this week and I can only imagine they have been occupying the suites. Guests staying CL were notified about their temporary neighbors.
