For those of you who are near Giant Eagle stores, they are offering double fuel perks May 16 - 29th on everything in the store including gift cards. If you get the full 30 gallons when you redeem them that equals a 12% savings on the gift cards.

I love getting gift cards during these times, because my Amex gives me 3x rewards for purchases at grocery stores so that equals a 15% savings on the gift cards

In December, you got a $10 Target Gift Card with every $50 Disney "Entertainment" Card purchase. You could then turn around and buy a second $50 Disney card for $40 and the $10 Target Gift Card ($38 if you used a Target RedCard). You could also do 5 transactions at once, get 5 Target Gift Cards, and then pay for the next Disney card with those 5 Target Gift Cards and no additional cash. So in December you were able to use Target Gift Cards to buy Disney cards.

With Father's Day coming up, I am patiently (sort of) waiting to see if any gift card deals come out for my local grocery store. We'll see!! I know for Mother's Day it was a bust.

Thank you for bumping this and the OP who mentioned it. I never would have made the connection because I didn't know Landry's bought them out. (they bought a lot of people in the last 2 years, they own Bubba Gumps now too) I'm going to be ordering these from costco and they have ghiradelli ones too for the same discount.

For the last two Decembers at least, they have had two separate 72 hour promotions, on consecutive weekends, where every $50 purchase earned you a $10 Target Gift Card.

Most people, including us, reported paying $38 for each Disney Gift Card (24% off). The 5% off is taken off of the reduced amount, $40, even though you are buying a $50 Disney GC. I would assume you could stack the 5% pharmacy promotion and pay $36 for each Disney GC (28% off).

I am also waiting for Father's day deals on GC's. Last year Giant had a promo get $10 wyb $50 GC and you could use the $10 CAT on the following GC purchase. I hope they have the same deal this year.

Yep, just about anything. I even used them at some of the kiosks in the park.

Has anyone successfully redeemed Target gift cards for Disney GC's lately? I have some MyPoints points to redeem, and trying to figure out what card to get with them. Walgreen's wouldn't let me do it before, so that is out. I can also get a Prepaid Visa, but that is more points, so if I can use the Target card for it, that would be ideal.

I'm in the same situation--trying to maximize the use of mypoints! I don't need any more Landry's cards (which are an excellent Mypoints value). Safeway is the best for buying Disney GCs but I'm not positive that my Safeway will allow it. I know that others have said it worked for them, but I think you need to check your local stores to make sure. My Target does let you use their gc to buy a Disney gc because I've done it several times, but with mypoints I'm looking for the best point return and Safeway is better than Target. Lowe's will not let you use their gc to buy Disney gc's so I've ruled out that one, and my WalMart would let you do it but they don't carry Disney gc's, at least in my store.

Everything disney owns, I think you can even pay parking with them. You can't pay for dinner at restaurants not owned by them and I think there are a few kiosks not owned directly by disney that won't take them but for the most part they can be used everywhere.

Just curious, do you think this can be used at the quick service Yak and Yeti?

They cannot be used at the CS - the restaurant is Landry's but the CS is actually Disney.

Is the pharmacy discount a one time only thing, or can you get another with 5 more prescriptions filled? Do you get the discount immediately with the fills/refills or do you have to wait for something in the mail?
I ask because we're going to WDW in June and I already have a Red Card and will need some scripts next month.

You get a new one each time you fill 5 prescriptions. They come in the mail.
