Luck of the draw. Just make sure you are registered on all the various Disney websites and try ordering a WDW planning DVD.

Anyone have the specifics on the pin code???

I received the pin code tonight and booked French Quarter from 10/24 to 11/01. You had to purchase at least a 5 day room and ticket package. Check in dates were
8/2510/2/13, 10/1810/31/13, 11/1111/23/13, 11/3012/4/13, 12/1512/22/13. You had to book by 08/14/13. Little mermaid rooms were excluded at Art of Animation. Same deal as other free dining offers where you get quick service at Values (can upgrade to regular plan for $19 per person a day) and regular dining plan at moderates and deluxe.

I read somewhere that last year they ended up opening up the LM rooms for the promo I was curious if you think it might happen this year? Should I check everyday to be sure

They were included with the FD pin last year. They are not included with the FD pin this year :-(

They only did that because the LM rooms were supposed to open in December, but construction was ahead of schedule. They opened in September and they needed to fill them fast. The other time they got free dining was a PIN and by accident. They pulled them from the deal, but they honored the reservations that were booked before they pulled them from the offer. I don't see them offering anything for the LM rooms this year or anytime in the near future. They are just too popular and there are not a lot of them.

I just got a free dining pin tonight and just added it to our package. I'm in disbelief as this is our first trip to Disney. It saved us $400 which will make this trip a lot less of a burden. We are staying 11/10-11/17

Yes, but those discounts won't come out until this summer, probably July. Predicted dates:

Nov 11-23 and Nov 30 - Dec 4
Dec 15-22

I guess it makes sense since as smitch said they are the most popular right now. I really had my heart set on it, but the deal was too good to give up. I booked ASMo and I'm a little nervous because we have never been before. But it's still disney

You will love it! I have stayed on the AoA LM rooms and many times at ASMo, and they are both fun and cute, but I would not pay full price to stay at any WDW resort

I just got a pin as well, of course I get it now that I have plane tickets, rental van and Disney dates booked, lol. I would have preferred to be there in October instead of late sept/early oct but its ok, just glad we got it.

I called at 9am this morning waited 50 minutes for an agent. Call time 1 hour. My friend called at 12 noon was on the phone for 10 minutes ! That's it! Lol. I'm just glad we all have free dining !!!

Normally the 5 night/ 6 day thing is just a suggestion. Are you sure the minimum night stay is 5?

The exact wording on email is: Enjoy A Free Dining Plan when you purchase a non-discounted 5-night/5-day Walt Disney Travel Company room and ticket package at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

I interpreted this as you had to book at least five nights, but I'm not sure. I did not ask the agent on the phone as I was booking 8 nights and 9 days anyway.

I got the pin too, that's just the advertising verbiage. All free dining promos, pin or otherwise, have a 3 night minimum and 14 day maximum booking .

It also said 5 night/5day which is odd because you'd think it should say 5 night/6 day.

if you are talking about the pin, it seems to be a min. 5 night because when I input it in the system and try to select less than 5 nights it doesn't allow me.
