I know they changed the menu offerings, but please tell me they still have the ice cream shop.

It's still there, you can still have them stamp your bill to get it after you eat the rest of your food, and most importantly: it's still fantastic! We purposefully saved one CS meal for this afternoon to have ice cream before boarding the "Tragical Express"* back to the airport.
* I'm on the ME bus as I type, and I am so stealing that the driver called it that!

LOVE that name! It forever will be the "tragical express" in my mind!

Love this thread. We are headed to Pop in 138 days and I am enjoying all the info I am finding.

We were there last year October and were hoping to return this December.
Due to some unexpected expenses, it will be almost impossible to make it happen.
Checking in every day on the DIS, I can still feel a little bit of the magic although it is pretty bitter sweet.
I will for sure be planning a trip for October 2014.

Thank you so much!! It's just my husband and I traveling, and I'm only there for 5 days, but afterwards I'm going to Jamaica for 4 days, so I will probably only do one load. I am thinking of putting enough Tide for one to two loads in a mini-tupperware and just using that!

I will also bring some quarters for the machines...who knows...maybe I'll be able to help out someone who is quarter-less. :thumbsup2

I, too, have brought along my own detergent. I use the Pyrex sheets as well as bring Bounce dryer sheets. Just take some and place in a zip lock bag. I always pack a coin purse full of quarters in my suitcase. That way I don't have to make change. If you don't like the Pyrex sheets 3 in 1, they Pyrex does have gel packs you throw into the laundry. They are good too.

I rather do the laundry before I come home. One less thing to do after a flight then drive home. I am so looking forward to going down there in September.:yay:

2 more weeks for my wife and I. We arrive on the 24th fri and leave on the 27th mon. This might be our last WDW trip before we start trying to have kids, so we will surely enjoy the freedom!! My wife is a teacher so this was the only time we could go with both our schedules working out so we know to expect it will be super busy, but we don't care since we won't be at work!!!

We will be checking in on the same and checking out the same day too. :) it was suppose to be DH and I but our babysitter couldn't watch the kids so its a family trip. Probably will be the first and last we stay on site as a family before #8 arrives in Nov.

Janet,
Do you want me to try to snap any pics of the new menus? I can't promise you that I will get to, but I will certainly try and I don't know that I will get to do the breakfast ones since I head home tomorrow...
But I'll see what I can do if you want them.

It would be awesome if you can, but I know you have been busy with your DD, so understand if you do not have the time.... And we do know you are returning very soon to the World :) ... plenty of time then! :cool1:

Safe travels home :goodvibes

Hope you have fun and the weather is nice! We are using the last 2 days of our FL fun pass. We kept the 3 days and added a hopper. We thought it was more practical than adding a 4th day especially since our work schedules rarely work out together.

Cool a fellow floridian too. We had some un expected expenses hit us and we weren't able to save up for the 3 day pass but I still have a day left on a pass my uncle gave me and a 1 day child and adult ticket. So that takes care of part of the clan. We have enough to get the rest 1 day tickets. They will be happy with just one day. And it will give us a chance to explore and do stuff we have never done when staying on property. Definitely hope the weather continues to cooperate too.
