Here now having a great time!:cool1:

How's the weather, is it still raining? We check in in 4 days. Is has rained her at home for about 2 months straight. I am really looking forward to some sunshine.
Yesterday was perfect! A bit cool in the morning(50s), warm but not too hot in the afternoon. Forecast gets warmer as the week goes on.

Was wondering on the new menu if they are still doing the individual pizzas?? I didn't see that on the posted list and we love our pop pizza if it is gone I may have to eat salmon!!!! But seriously please tell me the pizza is still there and not changed from last year
No individual pizzas. Now they are French bread pizzas. Neither my DD or I cared for them. The tomatoe sauce was too spicey.

I really miss the chicken penne Alfredo!

I had a kids meal cheeseburger that was very good. Also had the design you own tacos that were very good. The adult portion was 4 tacos. Next time I'll get a kids.

My friend had the nachos. They were done with potato chips not corn chips. She seemed to like them but I wouldn't.

OMG  9 days! :cool1:

I've entered single digits!!
Can't think about anything else!!!

OMG OMG OMG!!!

:dance3:

This made my day. :)
I love the excitement and anticipation of a new Disney trip.

Good morning, fellow Disney crazies! :earsgirl: :earsboy:
I am taking a group of 140 second graders to Nashville Zoo today.
Don't tell anyone :ssst:, but I'll be secretly pretending I am at Animal Kingdom. :tigger:

Here are the entrees from new menu from according to the "My Disney Experience" App

What is on the Mediterranean flat bread? Curious. Sounds yummy!

Has the POP's laundry room gone cashless yet? I heard they were in the process of switching over all the laundry facilities in the Disney Resorts to a "cashless" system and payment would be with your KTTW card.

It would save me from packing a bag of quarters! :rotfl2:

Unless something has changed, the food court soda dispensers at Pop alternate -- some have two Sprites and and some have two Sprite Zeros -- walk around and check all the machines...?

Yes, there is sprite zero but it it very limited. I only saw it at one of the four dispensers operating and two of the six are closed and it is daytime. Sometimes at night they only have two dispensers operating so it's a good chance it might not be available depending on which ones are closed.

Talked to my "friend" in mgt here and right now occupancy is in the 70% range... not too high for them.
I didn't ask, but I am wondering if their lower occupancy levels are why they have the cheerleading group here. He admitted that is VERY unusual for them but they didn't have any problems with them. They supposedly were pretty well behaved...a 'few' noisy ones but most were very good. Will be interested to see if that sets a precedent for them to start having groups like that stay here??!! Hope Not! But I guess we will see!

I am super excited that we will be making our first trip to Disney and Pop this September! :cheer2: I have loved going through this thread and reading all the great info everyone has provided. It has made me feel great about my decision to book at Pop. We are getting a preferred room and our only request is a king bed, otherwise I'm just happy to be at Disney. Can't wait!

Hi team Pop! Quick question...I've stayed at Pop numerous times but I've never needed to do laundry. This trip I'm heading somewhere else right from Disney, so I figure ill need to do a load of wash at the end of the trip. Does anyone have any specific laundry info like...

1. How much are the machines?
2. Do the machines accept credit cards or should i plan on bringing change with me?
3. I saw on the main page that you can purchase detergent in the laundry rooms. Anyone know the price of this, and if you can use credit cards, or if again, I should have quarters?

Thanks!

Ha whoops, i just asked this too! I'm hoping for cashless too...

only 3 weeks till I get to go back! not too happy about the change in menu recently... does anyone know how the "build your own salad" currently works? one trip I went to pop they built your salad in a large bowl and tossed all the ingredients together with the dressing to make sure it was well mixed. another trip they just piled it all in a "to go" container. I know the ingredients are all the same but It seems to taste much better when they take the extra mile to toss the salad before plating it! :)

I just walked over to the laundry room in front of the bowling pin pool since it is fairly close to my room.

Wash is $2 and dry is $2. Machines still take quarters. There is a bill changing machine in the laundry room. The laundry product dispenser had tide, wisk, color safe bleach, and downy fabric softner..ea product is a dollar and it takes quarters. And as of right now there is no way to use a credit card or KTTW card. HTH.

Looks like create your own salad and tacos are only available until 4:30.

The one I saw them make for someone was just ingredients put into a take out container-not mixed. I had one many years at POR and I thought the chicken was grilled chicken. At Pop the chicken is the same spiced chicken they use for the tacos.

Can someone please post the new menus? Or if I missed them, let me know which thread?

Only three more weeks! can't wait!

Thanks:cool1:

We were there in Jan this year and the salad was tossed for me. Maybe it's a YMMV thing?:confused3 Hopefully they would toss it for you if you requested it!

THANK YOU!! Looks like I'll be bringing some dollar bills with me :)

I know they changed the menu offerings, but please tell me they still have the ice cream shop.
