No, that's no correct. The suites have been included in all discounts since they opened and nothing has been said about them being blacked out this time.

Actually it's been 9 years of August free dining, that's why so many people were shocked when August wasn't included.

We can't get back until September 2014 and now I'm getting nervous for any free dining at all next year after seeing the cut back this year. Maybe they'll lose customers this year and have to bring back more next year.

Just remember to do the math if you're going at a time when both promos are available. It all depends on resort and party size. Some folks save a ton more with free dining while others do better with room discounts.

In 2011, we had a PIN code for 40% (room only) at the same time there was a free dining promo.

The 40% discount (we were staying at the WL) saved us more money than the free dining would have - so we went w/ the 40% discount & paid for the dining plan.

Correct, you must check in on a day the promo is available. Some folks get that confused. If you check in the day before it begins, then you aren't eligible for the promo.

Unfortunately, you cannot. You must check in on a covered date to get free dining, but stay tuned... There may be a room offer for your stay. Good luck!

I'm trying to help my nephew plan a surprise trip for his wife for there 1st anniversary and have a couple of questions. 1) if they book Sept 28 - oct 4 will dinning plan be good for the entire stay? 2) thinking about CBR does dining plan include table service for moderates? They are foodies and it will be her 1st time to disney. 3) Can you get king size bed at any of the moderates without paying for an upgrade ? Thanks !

Yes, if they are checking-in on 9/28 & the free dining promo runs through 9/28, they should get free dining for the length of their stay.

The free dining plan for the moderate & deluxe resorts is the basic dining plan which includes 1 counter-service meal, 1 table-service meal, & 1 snack/night plus the refillable mug.

I'm not sure about the king-sized bed!

Edited to Add - I just looked at allears.net. It looks like, to me, that a guaranteed room w/ a king-sized bed is an additional $15/night.

Yes, if you are paying full price for the room (not DVC points) and buy at least a 2 day MYW ticket. Plus it has to be available for your date and room type (there is a limit to the number of rooms for the promo).

1) Assuming Danny is correct, your dates will not be eligible for FD. FD ends on Sep 25th, therefore you must check-in by the 25th. If check-in is performed by the 25th, or any day within the promotion - FD can be added up to 14 nights.

I can answer the first two. Not sure about the King Bed...perhaps you can ask on the Resorts Board.

Yes. For September 28th, the 180 day mark was April 1.

September ADRs opened up for booking in March. You can book 180 days out from check in.

For some reason, I was thinking the Free Dining ran through 9/28, but it actually ends on 9/25 - just wanted to be sure you saw that. A couple of people corrected me, but, as fast as this thread moves, you might not have seen it!

So, if your nephew & his family are checking in on 9/28, they won't be eligible for the free dining.

Is there any way they can change their dates?
