When someone disputes something is true, when it is undisputably true. Usually done randomly, and always only one person, and somehow it hijacks an entire thread.

Oh, I see. An example from this week would be when someone insisted it was impossible for FL TV stations to air a "future" segment of Jeopardy early since the segment would not have been sent out yet, even though there was ample evidence that a future segment was indeed aired

Lol. Yes! I bet the poor moderators see those titles and think 'here we go...'. I sometimes wonder if people start these threads with a known inflammatory title such as 'I have a complaint about people pool hopping' or something. Sit back with a coffee and cake ( is it starbucks or Nescafe lol ) and enjoy the thread self destruct without any further action from themselves...

I know I DCL doesn't require passports on a closed loop caribbean cruise, but should I get them for my kids? This ultimately turns into a judgment - if you can afford the cruise, you can afford the passports and you are putting your children in jeopardy by not having them! Yeah, a lot of people jumped all over me for the bread and butter thing, but I thought the cupcake and doughnut stuff was much weirder.

For what it's worth, my husband still butters his bread all at once AND cuts up his entire meal before eating it. And I still haven't said anything about it to him.

Whenever I see those threads start I make a mental note of how many posts it will take for someone to state the dreaded "I don"t want someone else raising my kids" only to be answered by "what a waste of your college degree".

Exactly. WFTV Channel 9 in Orlando mysteriously was the only TV station in the country to have this problem.
