Ladies and gentlemen boys and girls tonigth .......

Does anyone know if there will be a rack room rate discount?

Pricing out two different options, and want to see if doing things al a cart makes any more of a difference.

No one knows yet. But you can crunch some sample numbers just in case.
Rack rate discounts can be better deals if you are staying at a deluxe resort and there are only two adults in the room.

You could just look up some typical room only discounts for your resort type and see what you get. I would use 30% for deluxe, 20% for moderates, and if you plan to stay in a value, the free dining is always a better deal.

Oh, I'm hoping and praying that our offer will end a couple of days later - coming in on the 27th currently, but could back it up to the 26th.

I'm right there with you! We're booked 9/27 to 10/7 at AoA but if it's only offered through 9/25 I'd have to pull the kids from school 3 days instead of just 1!

Black562 and Danny25 you just made alot of families very happy the both of you are amazing:thumbsup2. Unfortunately I am not going till November 10-16 at what point will they announce the late fall dates? Also,I guess the rumors about dlx and mods only getting qsd and nothing for the values we're just rumors. THANK HEAVENS!!!

I just checked (for kicks) and LM rooms were not even available.

Little Mermaid rooms aren't always included in the free dining. They were for some people last year, but mostly not. I tried and tried to get one.

and to the previous posters asking about availability during ToT 10-miler weekend ... it was offered last year. that was also the Epcot anniversary celebration.

October - December free dining dates are usually released in July, sometimes August.

I actually booked at por this year because of the rumors.I usually stay at the value resort's but we're celebrating my mom's 70th bday and she really wants to stay at a mod resort this time.I just hope I picked the right dates for the fd.

Yay! We've got reservation at Port Orleans Riverside for Sep 12 - 20. Going w/ my daughter, son-in-law & granddaughter to celebrate my granddaughter's 4th birthday on the 14th. I am celebrating already with your great news. One very happy "Gana" here - thank you. You're the best Danny & Black! :cool1: :cheer2: :yay:

There's also a big Mustang convention that has Coronado Springs Resort booked up during that time as well.

Just saw that too now that you mentioned it. August 30-September 1. Two straight weekends in a row with some guaranteed guests in the hotels already. They could do a selected dates promo for room only like they do towards November, but it's also likely that they'll just leave it as it is. There is probably a bunch of carryover from the two groups that will book before or after their events to visit the parks.

sweet!!! I arrive on Sept 24th and this would knock off about $250 off my price

But I believe that you mentioned in an earlier thread that you had received a post card and called to get that discount, and that would indicate a name-specific, non transferable pin code was involved and if not, there was certainly an error on the part of Disney reservations, because there has never been a Disney Visa or general public free dining discount offered to the campsites.

This is incorrect... in the early days of free dining, campsites were included and many people took great gross advantage by reserving a tent campsite for extra phantom guests, or did not stay there at all, just reserved for the DDP!

We already have a free dining BB from last year but maybe this means that they'll offer another FD BB offer with dates starting in August when we are there in August :yay:

Only to clarify, Fort Wilderness resort and campgrounds is the name of the resort not means that the campgrounds are included only the cabins :thumbsup2

Over 300 posts since 11am. Danny, how are you and black keeping up with all this

Between posts on several threads, my blog, and many Facebook groups...it looks like I'll be having dinner in front of my computer tonight!!!

That's alright though...dinner is always good among friends!!! :goodvibes

So you think I'm okay to wait until it is announced officially to get a room at Pop? I am terrified of waiting. But my husband will not let me book until it is on the website. :confused3
