Actually, some of the master bedrooms of the villas have standing, juliette balconies, but all of the living rooms and studios have full balconies. There are some pictures somewhere :confused3 that show the pattern.

But no villas have just a juliet balcony only :)

:welcome:

I have to go through and welcome all of our new friends who joined the thread over the past few days, but I won't have a chance to sit down and go through the last few pages until later tonight or tomorrow.

. Is best way to buy park hopper passes from CL concierge? We re a family of 6.

Will you have tickets before you arrive, as part of a package or from another source?

If you have tickets and will be adding on the PH option, you can do that at any time- either at the resort or at the parks (not sure if it would be regular ticket window or guest relations). You can add the PH at any time during your trip and it will be the same price- so if you are not positive you want it, you don't have to add it until you NEED it.

But then again, staying at the YC and BC, I always recommend hoppers so you can go into EPCOT whenever you want.

The other thing you may want to consider is that rumors are running rampant that Disney will be raising ticket prices this month (April), so that probably means PH tickets will go up, too. If you can buy your tickets now and insulate yourself from the price increase, especially if you have 5-6 family members to buy for, you may want to make the purchase sooner rather than later.

Good morning all - We usually do a split stay of BC/Poly, but couldn't get a discount for BC this year. We are staying at the YC for the first time and was wondering if there are things I should not miss, what room locations you would recommend, etc. Thanks for any tips.

The great thing about YC is that it's just like staying at BC, only a tad quieter in the lobby with more of a nautical theme.

I don't remember the room we had, but it was on the second floor just down the hall from the elevator / stairs that lead to the lobby. It was a great location since we could use the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator. If I were staying there I would request to be closest to the lobby that way your not all the way down the last wing close to the Swan/Dolphin.

Enjoy your stay!!!

P.S. we are doing a Poly/BC split stay for the first time this year!! Any suggestions on making the transfer easy would be much appreciated!

Right. :) I found a picture from the first page. Some of the master bedrooms have normal windows.

They got rid of the Friday MK PM EMH hours for the whole summer :worried:

What????????????

Grr! We planned on going to MK EMH on the Friday night we are there.

Although who am I kidding? MK closes at 10, and the chances that my family will make it much past that time are unlikely anyway.

Well I made a late Ohana reservation for Friday night at 9:30 PM thinking we could sleep in the afternoon, have a late dinner, then hit the park after eating. Now we'll eat and then go to bed? not a good idea after Ohana! :rotfl2:

And those balconies that stick out separately that look small on the pictures are actually full balconies. Enough for 2 chairs. :)

Just starting looking on website at ticket options. We always do PH option. If prices are going up soon we will definitely make a purchase to help ease the ouch factor.

I needed one ticket for my son (he doesn't have an annual pass) so I ordered off the disney website yesterday just to save time and they emailed me and said they couldn't process transaction until April 15th. So that must be D-day for price jump I'm guessing??

Hi everyone! I am a longtime lurker of the Dis and have been reading through this thread because we booked a last minute (for me-I usually spend months planning!)trip to the Beach Club!:cool1: This trip is a surprise for the kids and a much needed family getaway after having gone through a terrible past few months in which we lost my mother-in-law to cancer just seven weeks after we found out she had it. She was a huge Beauty and the Beast fan and had wanted to go with us to Disney, but I know she will be there in spirit:love:

We are so excited to be staying at our first deluxe and first time club level stay and are looking forward to lounging by the pool and being able to walk to Epcot:goodvibes. We will also be celebrating my DS turning 12 on our trip! I have already gotten so much information from everyone's posts and can't wait to be there! Our dates are 7/8-7/14, we would love to be added to the BOG list. Just wanted to say hi and share my excitement!

Just wanted to say {{{HUGS}}} to you and your family  We took at trip to WDW last year shortly after my step-dad died from ALS at a very young age and I think our whole family felt a healing and a celebration of his life and the memories we had of him at WDW. :grouphug: I hope you guys have a great trip.

Thanks so much TigrLvsPooh. That really means a lot! My kids were so very close to her and I know it will be a long healing process.
Disney is my happy place and I'm looking forward to a more relaxing trip and just enjoying being together as a family!

Just a thought..... if you have not actually ordered direct from Disney, or can cancel the order, you might want to check out Undercover Tourist. We have not used them but I have read only positive reviews. Their prices are a little cheaper than Disney.

Hi there. I'm sure this was addressed in past threads.. I can't find it. My family and I will be staying at the BC from June 10th thru June 17. We were able to get two different discounts for our rooms. The first covers 10th thru 15th. We have to check out on the 15th and check back in again for the last two days. Is this an easy process?? The second discount is through my Disney Visa. Is it okay to check out early in the morning and check right back in?? or... will they make me wait until afternoon and make us switch rooms? Thanks.. any info. is greatly appreciated.

And this is why we loved EMH so much (and probably why it is slowly going away). There is hardly anyone there past midnight....

Check out Undercover Tourist. We have purchased from them several times, including a couple of weeks ago. Right now it is taking about 2 weeks to receive the tickets from them so don't wait if your trip is soon! :)

Make sure your reservations are "linked" in the Disney system. That will help the room assignor know what you are doing and should eliminate having to move rooms. (I also mention it at the first check in, just to be safe) You will need to go to the front desk on the 15th to re-check in and probably have new room cards made.

If you are lucky they might be able to let you stay in the same room so you won't have to move your stuff. Do you have it noted as one of your preferences so that the room assigner would know you have two reservations?

It would be nice if they could do this. And it would save them some work, too.

If you are getting the dining plan, I know you need a ticket for at least one day, per person. Do you need to get that ticket directly from Disney?

Or stated differently- are you able to use UT for tickets if you plan on getting the dining plan?

You have to purchase tickets from Disney in order to get the dining plan. The only exception is for Annual Pass holders. And people renting points have special arrangements to make outside of the Disney system, I believe.
