Hi - is there a place at/near BC or in Boardwalk area that does hair wraps? Thanks :)

Yes. If memory servers, it's on the YC side of Storm Along Bay near the beach promenade.

I don't have pictures of any of the booths around the YC/BC- hair wrapping, Pick-A-Pearl (is that still there) or anything else. If someone who is going soon is so inclined to take a couple of pictures of the booths, services and pricing, I would appreciate it!

Just an FYI, the summer offer is up on the Disney website just in case anyone is looking to book with it!:wizard:

ETA: CONFUSED!!!

These are my pictures from July 2010:

Looks like a wall hair dryer

Anyone care to share what they had for a hair dryer recently?

Dee,

I just looked at my pics from last Winter and it was the wall dryer. I remember being disappointed thinking that they had upgraded to the others before our trip. I would recommend bringing one if anyone has thick and hard to dry hair like I do. Those wall units take forever.

So is it true that they're getting rid of or reducing EMH?

Also I saw that the website changed Sunday, does anyone else think its really slow? I know it's not my Internet as I have no problems on any other site!

Hey Guys :)

54 days to go! I finally made our ADRs today, yes I'm very late, but I managed to get some good ones. First night Cape May, then: Mama Melrose, Le Cellier, Ohana, the Plaza, Nine Dragons, and Coral Reef. Should be yummy! :)

Also I noticed today when double checking park hours, they took away the EMH for MK on May 31st???? :( That's our last night and I was hoping for a late night. Hmmmmm......

Natebenma I sent you a PM... do you, or anyone else, know the bedding layout for the 5 YC CL garden view rooms?

54 days!!!!!! :) :) :)

Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

They got rid of the Friday MK PM EMH hours for the whole summer :worried:

Both times we stayed at YC CL (GV) our room was 2 queens plus a day bed. We overlooked the gazebo.

HTH!

I think they got rid of more EMH (Friday night, as PP noted), in addition to reducing the evening EMHs down from 3 hours to 2.

That sucks!:headache::eek::(:furious::worried::faint: Why would they do that???

Thanks for the info about GV. We are hoping for a daybed, my boys hate sleeping together! :thumbsup2

I don't know either. And the way the hours stand today, the latest MK is open during out trip is 1 AM (and only on Sundays). We have been going at this time for 5 years and we have frequently had 2 and 3 am closings.... I am still hopeful they will at least extend a couple of non EMH nights to midnight but gone are the days of walking onto rides for the last hour...

As for the daybed situation, DS just reminded me that we stayed in the exact same room in YC CL both times, so I am not sure how many GV rooms have the daybed (but at least ours did!)

Good morning all - We usually do a split stay of BC/Poly, but couldn't get a discount for BC this year. We are staying at the YC for the first time and was wondering if there are things I should not miss, what room locations you would recommend, etc. Thanks for any tips.

Do all of the villas have balconies? Do they have full balconies or Juliette? I remember seeing the answer before but now I can't find it.

Villas all have regular size or super-size balconies ... or patios. No juliets over there. ;)

. Is best way to buy park hopper passes from CL concierge? We re a family of 6.

I like to buy my tickets in advance. Either at the Disney Store, ordering online, or using Mapleleaf tickets. I think it's easier to have tickets in hand when we arrive so we can drop our luggage and head straight to the parks. :goodvibes But you can wait and buy them when you get there if you prefer that.

Some of the master bedrooms of the villas have windows, no balconies at all, but all of the living rooms and studios have full balconies. There are some pictures somewhere :confused3 that show the pattern.
