2013 Free Dining Watch

I got the email.

Not for our dates though.

Hopefully there will be more to come out over the summer!
:surfweb:

I saw it many places on Facebook, but I follow several different Disney travel agents and specialty groups. The first it Mousesavers FB page. That's a good one to follow for updates and deals.

:thumbsup2 A few of my Travel agent friends had it up before mousesavers, but I too follow a bunch of them. The first one up this time was this one https://www.facebook.com/SarahLBAC?fref=ts. I am not sure we are supposed to post links like this on here, so if it disappears that is why.

Well before your link disappears, I clicked it and LIKED. You can never follow too many Disney FB pages in my opinion. LOL

My Visa email didn't come through until maybe 8:00 last night. It doesn't work for my dates anyway, but I'll be eagerly awaiting the next one for Fall dates.

It was announced in another thread on here before 9am yesterday.

No idea what time it was posted on FB, but it was early morning. FB is much easier for me to follow. Here I try to follow the threads discussing it, but half the time it is a whole new thread where the announcement is made. I just don't have time to check all threads, so not saying dis isn't on top of things or a good site to follow, just not as good *for me* as FB is. :goodvibes Different strokes, for different folks. LOL

Totally understand. These threads can be tough to keep up with all the multiple posts in different places.

We will still be going in September if there is no free dining (have been going with free dining for 5 of the last 6 trips), but the length of our trip will be cut in half. I have food allergies and the DDP just makes sense because there often lots of substitutions that have to be made to accommodate me and if we pay out of pocket it is so much more money depending on how they charge me compared to the one meal credit used on the DDP. There was a time we could just go and eat inexpensively out of pocket at CS places but there are only about three places on property that aren't TS that can accommodate me now since my allergy issues have grown so the free DDP sure has made it much more affordable to vacation at our favorite place. WDW is the only place we can safely "dine out" at and I look forward to my week or more of not having to cook everything from scratch! I know WDW doesn't owe us free dining but I know it has been very appreciated by my family! Here's hoping for it another year (or 10 lol)...

This is an easy one. No free dining in November, no DisneyWorld. There are better travel values.

Totally agree. It's just not a good value for my vacation dollars without FD or kids stay free deals. We look at the bright side...it will finally give us a reason to hit the other FL destinations that we have neglected...LEGOLAND, Universal, Sea World, etc. :thumbsup2

We will still go even with no FD in October. I would love to have a discount or FD, just means more spending money or an upgrade to Deluxe Dining.
