I was in a drum and bugle corps that would rehearse and perform in Naperville (The Cavaliers from Rosemont, IL). I swear, Naperville was heaven on earth!! A wonderful place to stay!

Hello, all!

How excited we are to be going on a Disney Cruise! Our family (me-29, DW-29, DS-2) are transplants from NW Pennsylvania to NE Florida and we've caught the Disney bug! Last year, we became passholders and have enjoyed EVERY MINUTE of WDW! We renew our passes in April of this year for another year of Disney magic!

On a whim, we booked reservations for this upcoming cruise! We booked 39 days before sailing. The reservation kept disappearing from the website, and finally, we snagged it!

In the past few weeks, I've learned so much about topics I never imagined before: Fish Extenders (how I do wish we would have booked earlier to get on this list!), magnetic paper (never knew this existed, and I teach at an elementary school!), the absolute need for an embroidered pillowcase, the list goes on!

In any case, we are in room #6052. We are looking forward to meeting you all!

Welcome! it's addicting isn't it?! =) we booked in decemberish or earlier of 11 for this cruise. and by january of 12 we were so itchy to go that less than two months prior to our march 17 cruise we booked into the spring break cruise last year! so we actually booked this year's cruise before last year's cruise! we are looking forward to enjoying the fruits of that labor this year as we have exactly the room category we wanted, last we had to take what we could get, a little cramped. but it was fun nonetheless, a perfect week of weather and we look forward to it again this year!

So you're transplants huh? Did you move with kids or after raising them up? I'm getting kind of sick of the cold and would love to transplant south! Sooner than later! =)

(Well, mentally ready to go - I probably better get started on that packing!)

I cannot wait either! I did some prep work yesterday, getting some things ready for the trip, and tomorrow we'll be shopping a bit, and picking which clothes we want to bring!

Wonderful!! Lets try to meet up and introduce our daughters at the meet and greet!!...where is that again??!!

Just curious about meet and greet. Are we wearing name tags? I know a couple of you by your first names but most by Disboards names.

And starboard... What side is that again? ... Can u tell I have never cruised before!!! Excited and nervous... Have my Seabands and Bonine ready to go. Oh and a little Xanax for the plane bc I hate flying !!

Port on left Starboard on right. Face forward on the ship and go from left to right...like most people read. ;) It goes in ABC order. Some remember port left because both have four letters and end in a t.

The M&G is at the Donald pool at 3. I've never seen anyone wear name tags at one on the ships and this will be our 10th cruise. We haven't gone to all the M&Gs. I suppose that if you want to bring a tag for yourself, you could.

I finally snagged a flight on JetBlue for our return home. What a relief after nearly 11 months of price checking.
We'll be staying at the Beach Club villas the night before. We'll be visiting downtown Disney, doing some bowling at the new Splitsville, shop for some body scrub at the body shop and eat some tasty chicken at Polo Campero. My DC Jackie has never been on a Disney cruise and I can't wait to show her why we go to Disney and sail on Disney ships all the time.
All my FE gifts are packaged and packed in an ebag packing cube for my carry on.
Now all that's left is the :laundy: and the REST of the packing.

I've never seen anyone wear name tags at one on the ships and this will be our 10th cruise. We haven't gone to all the M&Gs. I suppose that if you want to bring a tag for yourself, you could.
We've done 14 cruises on Disney and on 4 of them we had name tags. This was when the dis group on board was huge. The first was in 2005 for the Panama canal east bound sailing which had 500 disboard members. The others were the 2nd east bound Panama , the first west bound transatlantic and the 3.0 Podcast cruise last summer. Usually someone in the groups organizes the name tags with lanyards for us. It's a bit late now for that, so hopefully we get to see each other more than once.
See you all on embarkation day.:grouphug:

Maybe I missed it, but has there been any word from Canadian Crew and their cabin number (for the FE list)?
