April 28th at 9:20 for me! There's only two of us, what are the chances of a good seating coming in 20 minutes after the first ADR like that? I don't like the way my reservation is only going to give us 40 minutes instead of the normal 60.

You will have the full 60 minutes. The system gives you a certain time but it doesnt matter. Everyone will be let in 1 hour prior to wishes, no matter what time you have the adr for. Tables are preassigned anyway.

The Dessert Party begins 1 hour before wishes. They stagger the ADR times but everyone lines up together if you are 1st inline at the podium you will be first guests into the party.

Where your table is will be based on how many people booked before you so given the later time you may be further back

Thank you both!

I'm a complete and utter newbie when it comes to the Wishes Dessert Party. This page on disneyworld.com says that reservations can be made 90 days in advance. I would like to make reservations for Sunday, May 5, 2013, but there seems to be no availability. Is it because they are truly sold out for that day or because they have not yet released seats for that day?

May had not been released yet. Subscribe to this thread and you will know when they are released...probably the beginning of April... I'm guessing the 3rd...

BTW I'm hoping for the same day

Roughly how many people are able to attend the party?

I've heard about 150-160, but again, this is hearsay, and I'm not sure

We did this last year and I'm craving those mango shooters. I might have internal bleeding if I don't at least 40 every year. Hoping to get reservations this August. "Wish" me luck.

Are there any good pictures if the desserts?

Here's one of my plate from last July....well one of my plates :rolleyes1
