Thanks! I don't like to see spoilers. That other thread didn't have anything on it when I checked it out this afternoon, but as we get into the season, I'm sure it will.

DH, who used to enjoy Amazing Race and Survivor, has been off them for a while, and asked the other day why I keep watching when it's all the same thing over and over... I asked him why he keeps watching golf when it's the same thing over and over, AND boring. He said he likes it -- and I said I like my shows, and don't criticize his. He said they'll be gone in 5 years -- I said maybe so, but I'll watch and enjoy until then!

Loved Bora Bora! We were there a couple years ago, so it sure brings back memories! The water is not that deep around the islands. They should have been able to stand when they tipped. Sorry to see the firefighters go. 4 hours is huge amount of time going into the next leg.

I didn't even realize it was starting tonight and stumbled across it by accident. So excited! Sad to see the firefighters go, the youtube couple.....ICK! Rooting for hockey players, dad & son, roller derby moms...that's it off the top of my head.

I think I'll be rooting for the twin doctors, the dad and son and the hockey players. The YouTube couple seems a little bit annoying, but I guess we'll see as we get further into the season.

Did anyone else like when the man in the newlywed couple said that his new wife's "likeability factor is low"?

He said something like that, but I took it as he meant she didn't like many people, not that she wasn't like by many. I guess we'll find out as the show goes on.

I think he said she doesn't have friends which I took that she is self absorbed and likes herself too much to have to listen to anyone else talk.

I like the doctors, thought them saying they were in delivery was funny. Oh and I always go for the older person so the dad and son.

I do not like the newly married no friends couple or the internet youtube couple.

BTW the Chip and Dale guys were on Top Chef or one of those cooking shows as taste testers in Vegas

I thought it was a good start to a new season. Bora Bora looks amazing.

I can see why the newlyweds have no friends.

I find the YouTubers annoying. Like the brothers, dad & son, hockey players, roller derby moms...actually most of the teams are okay so far.

I do think most of them were NOT digging deep enough in the sand. They were looking IN the sandcastle, not UNDERNEATH like the clue said.

I'm wondering how far behind the other teams the newlyweds and country singers will be. We know there is the 4 hour penalty, but how long were they on that beach? One of them said they'd been out there for at least 3 hours. Hmmm.

I was really sorry to see the firefighters go, I was wishing it would be that couple that the husband said his wife's likeability was zero. She is a....well I can't say what she is here......but I don't like her at all.

I like the doctors, roller derby moms, country girl singers, dad and son so far.

I wonder what will happen with that second express pass, if that couple that won will actually give it to the second place team or if they'll decide to keep it. I wouldn't have wanted to go in with that pact, to give it to the second place team automatically. Don't they have until the end of the 4th leg to decide who to give it to? I'd rather wait and see which team seems more deserving of it.

Wow, absolutely gorgeous! If I were to skydive some day, I would love to do it where they did instead of over some field like you normally see.

I think the newlyweds are awful. Total snobs.

I think it was foolish for the first 5 teams to make a deal for the winner of the express pass to give the second one to the second place finisher from their group. Having the second one serves as an advantage to you, not just something to chuck away. Maybe tell the father/son that as long as they're still there by the 4th round, they'll give it to them then, but in the meantime, they're going to use it to their benefit (having other teams help them out where needed in hopes that they might receive it, etc.). It's a tough situation -- I'd hate to break my word, but you have to be in this game for yourself, so maybe that is sort of a compromise.

Agree with for Dad/son, 'delivery guys' (too bad they couldn't keep a straight face on that one!), roller derby moms, even the country singers and the hockey players.

The married couple can go.

I am reserving my call on the youtube pair. I watched AR China Rush, and my first response to a similar pair was negative, and in the end, I was rooting for them.

Mullet man reminds me of a little guy I taught a few years back. Odd, but I adored him. I guess I'll wait an episode or two, on that pair as well.

I wondered about them knocking over a few castles at a time and then rebuilding, but I am guessing that the instructions were clear on there Road Block-one castle at a time.

I liked the one-lines too. Was it the twins who said "shut up" is our code word for I love you. And, the hockey players, I think said, we know each other so well we finish each other's............sandwiches.
