DDP online booking problems

I am in the process of booking DDP now and cannot get the accommodation to link with DDP
I have UK (6 digit) - US (ABC12345) and also US(12 digit) booking references but none will create a link. Even after contacting Disney online tech help via phone, they were unable to sort it, despite confirming that all of the res. numbers were correct.
Anyone else having similar issues?

I booked our ADRs online from the UK site using our ref in the format ABC12345.

It won't link to the my Disney experience things but I did get to do the +10 :goodvibes

I've had the same problem. I've had to make all of our ADRs by phone. I've spoken with the several CMs and they can't understand what the problem is because both of my conf. numbers won't work. It's really getting to be a bit of a pain having to phone every day. We're staying for 21 nights, so I'll still be phoning for another 9 days!

I must admit I'm getting to the point where I'm thinking of just waiting. When we phoned to do the first 10 we wanted to booked Tusker House lunch at 1pm, they said nothing was available till 1.35, so we made an ADR for then. Today I thought that I'd go online and have a look, there were 3 available times all before 1.35, so I changed it to 12.45. Unfortunately I still have some hard to get ADRs! :headache:

It seems there is a problem with the "my disney experience" upgrade.

over other boards we have several recurring reports that you can't link your ressies with the DDP

It's no big deal, since you will always be asked il you're on the DDP when you arrive at the restaurant. So even if you don't link to the DDP you'll still be able to use your DDP for that ressie.

The main problem is when you want to use your DDP to book a prepaid venue.
For the moment, you can't.

Seems to be an issue with bookings made with WDTC-UK

Did anyone check on the US boards to see if they have a similar problem ?

which are pre paid restaurants?

i had a 6 digit number when booking and when i tried to link mine it asked for a 8 digit number found on the confirmation email , my first email i recieved had the original 6 digit number i wrote down when i booked then a later email had a 8 digit number ?? this number is accepted when i enter it in the box with the green tick at the side but it still hasnt managed to link my reservation

im confused will all the usa uk website , how do i know which im on when im logged in to my disney exerience does it automatically change to usa site as i have noticed it says my vacation ??

my 180 days is only a week away its my first time doing them and im dreading it !! could do without ringing as we havent got a landline (

oh thats ok then i dont think any of ours are pre paid , we are doing crt but in our 2nd week when not on dining plan so i was expecting to pay that at time of booking

so you can just book the dining reservations anyway even if you cant link the resort booking thats handy to know

The only problem is if you're staying onsite and are entitled to do the 180+10, you won't be able to if you can't link the dining and the resort reservation. You will either have to phone to make your ADRs or you'll have to do them individually online.

Exactly the same problem as you

Tried every number going but still no luck, I've given up now and have taken to ringing Disney dining everyday:crazy2:

We had the same problem in October. We phoned up, that day they couldnt link our details to our ADRs, and so it wasnt a problem to book 10 days :-) x

I have the 12 digit US numerical code. Like others could not get ADRs matched to our resort reservation.

Booked our ADRs on-line for all apart from shows and Fantasmic dining.
Then phoned the USA line and booked the shows and Fantasmic dining. CM said that reservations would be linked.

After a week or so phoned the UK 0800 Disney number as the ADRs were still not linked and got through to making ADRs option. The CM was brilliant and linked all the ADRs. She even asked me to hit refresh on the My Reservations website and all the reservations came up.

Good luck everyone getting this sorted.

The system is down at the moment for maintenance, so hopefully all the glitches will be sorted out, but I'm not holding my breath!! :rolleyes1

We had the same problem last year (haven't tried this year because we can't book our ADR's until May 2nd) but we called the Disney Travel Company and asked them for the 12 digit number and they gave it to us and we booked them on the US site. After that, we had no problems.

The problem is that the 12 digit conf. number is not linking the resort res. to the dining res. and nobody seems to know why! :confused3

Really though, as long as you can make dining reservations, it surely doesn't matter if the hotel reservation and dining reservations aren't linked. I have booked reservations before and not linked them and it doesn't matter, as when you sit down to eat, they ask if you are on DDP anyway.

It doesn't matter if you don't mind not doing your ADRs online!
