May 18, 2013 MAGIC EBTA - Who is with us?

So I put in a call to my travel agent. They called Disney and were told that the OGT would be considered a new booking and that they'd charge us the going rate for the airfare (which was my fear) and that has gone up significantly since we made our reservations. I'm not even able to find Disney Air from anywhere on the west coast, but I guess they were willing to do it for more than we first paid.

Anyway, won't work for us. I liked the idea of a window, but we'll be ok in our inside room.

I can't wait for this trip :cool1:

Hahaha well obviously I need more sleep, since I couldn't even notice THAT! :lmao:

DH went to Marshall. And I was right! Pepperdine is on the "other" list. #17 haha.

Sorry your husband went to "that other West Virginia School". I will try not to hold it against him when we meet and won't rub our 12-0 series record against Marshall in his face (too much):thumbsup2 Incase you haven't noticed yet, I bleed blue and gold!

To funny you found your school on the "other" list.

I've seen an image floating around on some of the Med forums and other boards of a Mickey ear shape filled with words like Mediterranean, Castaway Cay, Disney Magic etc.

Does anybody know how to change them slightly? I would like to fill it with words just relating to our cruise - thought it would make a great graphic for a t-shirt! :-)

That was made on a site by the name of http://www.tagxedo.com/ - If you can't figure out how to do it, please PM me and I'll send you instructions :) I'd say "join our FB Graphics Group" but I know how you feel about FB :lmao::lmao:

Can I check check carry on sizes with you? We are flying BA and have carry on luggage that complies with their limits - 22" x 18" x 10" (56cm x 45cm x 25cm) including handle, pockets & wheels but have seen it mentioned several times on the boards that DCL carry on limit is smaller (22" x 14" x 9") to fit thru' scanners so does that mean we need to get smaller carry on bags to comply or am I worrying unnecessarily?

Well dangit but the "bright" side is how wonderfully dark the inside cabins are! Hubby prefers then to all others. :)

I actually lost weight--I majored in Mathematics, and I started college at 16, so I had to struggle to keep up. I didn't drink, but I did sneak into bars to listen to the bands, so I wasn't exactly a saint.

Similar here...had all my coursework done before I hit the drinking age of 21 and went to college in a dry county. I was the one my buddies called at 2am to come pick them up. First drink was after I started teaching high school lol

We had one for our California Coastal cruise, too. I'm not sure how to make them, but I know someone will!

It is the first time we're inside (first cruise was a verandah, second was SPH) and we'll be inside for the Med as well. We were trying to make it more affordable. I'm going to use the tv and tune it to the bridge camera in the hopes that it makes it less cave like

That's a shame but at least you locked in your airfare when it was lower :)

Thanks - they just look really cool I thought!

Agreed. I am guessing that we could have found better airfare, but this is $1174 for each of us and it includes a night in a hotel and transfers. Gets us from home to Galveston and then home from Barcelona. I'm fine with it. Wish we'd been able to upgrade, but we'll still have a blast and are happy with what we paid, etc.:coffee:

I think that's an awesome price for what you got for it!

:goodvibes I agree. I'm just trying to get over my window envy :lmao: We'll see about upgrades at the terminal, but based on previous reports, we won't hold our breath.

DH loves the cave feel! He would agree with Mandygirl's husband, best night of sleep for him without any light. He is the reason we aren't rebooking OGT. He loves his inside cabin (I'm secretly hoping we get an upgrade)

Lol! I think we will do the same. It may sound silly but even for £200, we are happy to have a good inside cabin based on reviews of the rooms I have read. So don't really want to change it and risk getting a bad one...if there is such a thing!
