Speaking of the hunt... teams 6 and 7 still need their team names. :rolleyes1 Come on ladies. Get those creative juices flowing and come up with something fabulous! :goodvibes

Hey Beth do we know what time the princess photo will be on Saturday? We have to spend most of the day at the cheer thing but I won't know WHEN we have to be there till closer. But IF it works out mom and I may hop over and do the pic and the small world if possible. Thanks

OKay, just called Disney. Park opens at 8, but Princesses will be out at 9. So, I think we should start lining up a bit before 9. Maybe... hmmm... 8:30 or 8:45. It used to get packed early on, not sure if it still does. Maybe we should do 8:30 just to be safe. At least that's what time I'll probably start lining up.

ETA: Just realized those doing the Minnie breakfast will never make it over by 8:30 or maybe not even by 9. Shoot. I guess we'll just try for 9, and then hopefully everyone will make it as close as possible to that time.

Thanks so much for the info. we are doing early entry at dca but I should be able to make it back over there as long as the cheer thing doesn't start that early. Yay getting excited!!

Update:
The Meet and Greet party start time has been changed from 5:30 to 5:00. We are starting a half and hour earlier to allow time for those with annual passes the chance to go back to the parks after the party for the special extended park hours if they'd like. If you have already printed out a trip schedule, please make note of this change. Thanks!

Ok, thank you Theresa!

How late is the park open for AP holders? I still plan to get one on Thursday morning, so it would be nice to take advantage of it!

Is there a sign up for the Aladdin show in the day of the scavenger hunt? If so, put me on it please! :)
Hey Andrea, like Theresa said, no sign ups. If anyone not doing the hunt would like to see Aladdin, just meet at the theater 30-35 minutes before the show starts. Well, I like to get a good seat so I always get there early. Plus, they start seating early, too.
It should finish up right around the end time of the hunt, so we can head over to Pacific Wharf afterward to meet up with everyone for lunch and the hunt results. :thumbsup2

Sorry, I cannot answer this. I am not an AP holder anymore. Waaaaaahhhhh! :sad1: Poor, poor me.

;)

Quick post!

My Son and DDIL were at DL today. Only a 5 minute wait for Radiator
Springs Racers!

Hoping we get some of those wait times while we are there!:thumbsup2

No problem! Glad she found a team to play on. I was going to PM you and ask which one she'd been added to so I could update the lists. Thanks! :thumbsup2

Aw, that's so cool about Devin. Gosh, a senior! You, me, and Theresa all have our baby boys graduating high school this year. Does this mean we are getting old??? lol
Um..... that means I am really old! :rotfl:

Hi, just checking in. I'm home from New Jersey, and I'll be here for a few days before I head out for a conference in Washington DC on the 10th:faint: I'll PM my team and see if we have a name. I think I'm caught up on everything else. I found my gift exchange gift, think I know what I'm wearing to the party, and signed up for my snack table item.

I unpacked but left my suitcase out for my DC trip, and I keep forgetting what I'm packing for and throwing Diva trip stuff in, then realizing that they might not be appropriate for a Red Cross conference:rotfl2::rotfl2:.
Hey Cindy! HI and goodbye again! You are one busy, plane hopping lady! :faint:

Hope you got a hold of your team members!

Wouldn't that be amazing!

I cleaned off my desk today. :scared:

I couldn't find my little wrench for the locking pin backs. Sure enough, buried on my desk. Doesn't help that it's black and I have a black desk pad. Ugh. But now my park backpack pins are updated (Christmas pins off, Spring pin on!). I've started packing, much to hubby's dismay. LOL

oh my gosh! So glad you posted this! Two years ago when we did the Walk in Walt's footsteps tour, you gave me a locking back. Your wrench is different from mine and I have not been able to take it off! Hope you will bring your wrench with you:)

Stressing out today. I have still not received my 1098-t from school so I haven't been able to file my taxes. I'm kind of relying on my tax refund to be able to, you know eat, at Disneyland during the trip. I could file without it, but I qualify for an education credit this year and the difference is about $1,000. If I file now without it I will have my refund by the trip, if I wait any longer I may not. And it's possible that I could file an amended return later. Ugh.

In March I'm going to sign up for the Hot Chocolate Run in San Diego. Yup, Chocolate. Even the 5K runners get a nice sweatshirt/jacket and at the finish you get a bowl full of stuff to dip in the chocolate fondue and chocolate fountain. Plus lots of free samples of chocolate - yum. That one is just a couple of days before my birthday, and it benefits Ronald MacDonald House, so I'm going to do that one too.
Haven't looked as far ahead as April yet.
Oh my gosh! I just might try to hobble through a race like this if there's chocolate waiting for me at the end!
Use the little wrench to loosen the screw in the side of the nut. Don't take it all the way out, just far enough so you can slip it on the pin. Then tighten it back up. I get a slightly different model on ebay that are shorter. The Disney ones are so long, they are hard to use for certain things.
Tried that and no luck. I don't see a screw or a nut. There are holes on each end and one in the middle. I'm going to bring them to the M&G and maybe you can show me what I'm doing wrong.
Devin had his Football banquet and I found myself getting teary eyed since he's a Senior and this was his last hoorah for High School football :sad1:. My favorite quote about Devin during the banquet "Devin Leo, the only lineman in history to have a six pack." For those not familiar with football, the lineman are those big, heavier guys that protect the quarter back.
Just wait til graduation day. You'll be more than teary eyed!

I know I won't make it by 9. Sure don't want to scarf down breakfast.:)

Oh boy, I'm going to have to pick up the speed on the freeway coming down now. Hopefully I'll make it in time.

FYI, IRS is not accepting returns with education credit until, they say, at least the middle of February. If you want any refund by the end of the month, your best bet is to file without it and amend.

It's in my "park backpack"!

Yup, that's what I decided to do. I should receive my refund nlt the day before the trip. I hope.
