Happy planning and congratulations! So excited!!! Just booked our last minute vacation! Yipee!!!
Just renting points and are choosing between Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom lodge studios ... I have stayed at the Animal Kingdom lodge but never at Wilderness Lodge . Is this a good resort for Adults ? We are 4 adults and looked into Beach Club and Boardwalk but both are book for our time in November ... Any suggestions from those that have stayed at Wilderness Lodge ?? Thanks
You know that both of these studios have one queen bed and one double sleeper sofa, right? I wouldn't want four adults in one studio unless it was maybe OKW for a very short time. OKW is the only studio with two queen beds.
i'm getting ready to book at the wilderness lodge. I am booking a standard room, is there an area that has some what of a good view that I can request? Would I be able to see any fireworks from MK from this view? Or should I try Woodlands? Any input would be great thanks!
lsumommaof4 said:Hi! I just saw the video that featured the Deluxe Room. I did not see a ceiling fan. That is one of the reasons I talked my husband to this resort/room. I looked on the Disney Website and it still lists a ceiling fan, but I didn't see one in the video. It had a light fixture there! Oh nooooo!!!
Can anyone confirm since the rehab?

This is a pre-rehab photo (4/12) from the Deluxe room link in Post #2 of a Deluxe room ceiling fan, by elaw:Not good. I e-mailed the IPO and they said they called the front desk to confirm that all rooms have ceiling fans. That's strange they would tell me that.

I can't imagine they removed all the ceiling fans post-rehab, so I'm sure you'll have one above the two queens.
So this is kind of an odd question. We're booked in a deluxe room at WL Dec 29-Jan 10. 4 adults (mom, dad, grandma and great-aunt), 2 kids.
What's storage like in these rooms? I hate digging through suitcases every day on vacation.
If you drive one option may be to bring your own rolling rack. You can buy them at WalMart/KMart/Target for about $30 and unassembled they take up little space.
