Checking in again... We Marylanders Joanne & Mike (GO Ravens!) will be on the trip, too. Our daughters are Natalie(9) and Renee(6) and would love to email some girls ahead of time. My 9 year old especially could use a buddy she corresponds with ahead of time so she feels comfortable at the Kids Club. The last cruise we took (which was Holland America), she wasn't into it at all

I'm thinking about this Fish Extender idea, but I really need to do some research to find out more!

We're also going to do a couple days in Orlando before and after the cruise... anyone else doing the Land and Sea thing?

My daughter would love to email your girls......where are you from in Maryland? We are in Perry Hall/White Marsh area...northeast of Baltimore.

As a reminder, my crew is me (Audrey), DH- Steve, DS8-Elijah, DS6- Levi, DD3-Vivian ( celebrating her 4th birthday onboard), DM- debi "bibi" and DF- Sid "granddaddy" (first timers).
We are DVC members, and veteran disneygoers, this is our 4th cruise.

If you search FE on the boards you get lots of info and ideas. For our cruise, I was thinking that we would gift each cabin once (unless very few signed up). It is up to individual families (as above) whether they want to do 1 per cabin gifts,
1 for adults and 1 for kids gifts or individual gifts.
I would suggest participants browse the list to get ideas about favorite characters and special occasions. Once the list is closed I will contact each participant family and assign cabins/days

Looking forward to it! My kids would love to communicate with anyone looking to make friends in advance

Thanks for organizing the FE. We did it on one of our previous cruises when the kids were younger and they really got excited to see what was left for them and to deliver the surpirses to the other rooms!

After 3 RC cruises including the Oasis, I am excited to finally do the Disney Cruise. My husband , daughter, father, and I will be sharing a cabin...yes one cabin and both men snore! Usually do 2 cabins and my 20 year old son stays with my dad and his ear phones. My daughter cannot wait to meet people, play in the kids clubs, eat and hit the beach. Anyone else out there with a 7 year old looking for a buddy to hang out with? Please message me and I will let Gabby know.

I packed her clothes for the trip this afternoon (okay, a little early) and started my planning book. I can't relax until I have a plan. The rest of the family just goes along with and benefits from it! lol

Does anyone have any tips for a crew like ours on a first time Disney Cruise?

My daughter is 7 and loved the kids club on Royal Caribbean! Perhaps they will meet. We are driving down on Friday night and staying in Cocoa Beach on Sat night.

It will be her first cruise but the second for my husband and I. We did the same exact itinerary on the Dream two years ago for our honeymoon. We LOVED it!!! Wow, ya'll are serious. Facebook pages, FE clubs, etc. I thought it was simply nice to communicate before hand. But y'all have taken it to another level. I sense some excitement. Can't wait. My wife and Son are very excited.
