Well after two days of worrying about whether we'll even be allowed to fly out because of the snow, here we are sat on the top deck of the virgin plane at gatwick
Take off is supposed to be in ten minutes so looks like we'll be late, but we've been thinking that it'll be late or even cancelled so as long as we're not delayed too long I'll be happy.
Plan is one week: two nights at pop, three at POR and two at the poly. Not getting a car at all this time so bussing it all the way, magical express and Disney transport

If anyone's got any questions feel free to ask and I'll try and answer as soon as poss. See you all on the other side

Oh and for all those (like me) who have been asking about the bubble, we're up here now. The aisle is noticeable narrower but not ridiculously so, and the bits above where you put your bags are smaller, my not so big bag that I always use for hand luggage doesn't fit and have had to put it in the cupboard at the back. Liking row 79, Gary's on one aisle and I'm on the other, I'm directly in front of the stairs so can recline without worrying about annoying anyone.
We're still refuelling at the mo so will be taking off late, but better late than never, glad im not one of the poor people at heathrow

Well we got here ok, flight took off 50 mind late but was expecting that to be honest what with all the snow. Flight was uneventful, watched hotel Transylvania, American pie reunion, ted and dark shadows. Now sat on magical express bus about to pull out of the airport

Hope you all escape the worst of the snow. I'm a bit worried about our dog, he's in kennels and hope he's ok and not too cold

Only ended up waiting less than ten mins on the ME bus before going, and pop was the first drop off! It was going to CBR and yacht and beach club afterwards, and was about half empty so we got to spread out a bit.
Check in was quick and painless, we're in the 80s section at pop near the computer pool. Nice clean room, figured out where the lifts were after we'd dragged the suitcases up four flights of stairs. But now have figured out its quicker to walk across the car park to get to the bus stops than walk through to classic hall.
Got to the room and dumped the cases, Gary had a quick shower then we headed out to DTD. Plan was to have dinner at wolfgang puck express (we're on quick service dining plan), then a couple of drinks at the margarita bar, then back to the hotel. We did a quick two minute stop through art of Disney, found about $400 of stuff we want to buy (three big figs...), then headed to WPE. Gary had the pepperoni pizza and cheesecake, I had the spaghetti bolognaise (tasted more like shepherds pie without the mash but with spaghetti instead - but disappointing). We walked into world of Disney, then straight back out again, DTD on a Saturday night on a federal holiday weekend maybe wasn't the best idea......
We didn't even manage the margarita bar, both of us are too tired and were too cold to bother. So back at the hotel and chilling. Not sure what tomorrows plan is, hitting a park but not sure which one

We ate in WPE for the 1st time in September and the pizza was yum!

Wish we were there with you We ate at WPE for the first time last summer and loved the meatloaf. Will hopefully get to try it again this summer. Have a fantastic holiday and thanks for the live trippie.

Glad you got there safe going to be following this closely to check the weather. . We leave in 11 days x

We landed just as it was getting dark last night but it's warm, got a bit breezy later in the evening about ten ish but warm enough otherwise. Would have probably have put my fleece on if I hadn't have left it in the room but wasn't freezing cold.
Weather forecast for today looks good, no rain and temps in the mid 70s
Walking round the resort and DTD last night saw a few of the cheerleaders from the thing going on at WWoS this weekend but not too many of them. But have seen quite a few of what I'm assuming to be the infamous Brazilian tour groups.....
Still not sure on what park to hit today. Mk has evening extra magic hours do will probably end up there tonight but no idea on the daytime
Ps jetlag sucks. Stayed up til midnight and still woke up at 5am

Sounds great. We won't be out late as don't expect DD could last all day and night. Hope it's not too chilly in the morning waiting for rope drop. We are Brits going on holiday we will be wearing our shorts
